ORIGINAL: patina I have decided i am going to rant. I have developed an ingrown hair on the edge of my clit. Against my better judgement I decided to shave my pubic hair as so many Dom's show a preference for it. I have now decided to state to the next male that tells me to shave " I will shave when you shave your balls" Firstly, if I were you and did not want to shave down there, I wouldn't make it an issue in my life until I met someone who requested such. At that point, I would explain the problem that you have and hope you are dealing with a reasonable man who could perhaps compromise on it somehow....like maybe shave some of it and stay away from the clit or perhaps not shave it at all, if the likes that. I would definately not be telling him what he better do (ie shave his genitalia etc). I think you will receive more understanding with an explanation than by giving ultimatums. quote:
When i get an ingrown hair it is painful to sit -stand - and walk. I have to wait for it to get infected enough to either squeeze and bust or just go away. I have to admit i have only had one once before in that area in my whole life and it was after i had to have a D&C done. Are you sure it was in ingrown hair? Maybe you nicked yourself and got a tiny infection? quote:
Don't you feel it is only a fair exchange as i am tired of getting hair in my mouth when i suck your balls for you. If i must shave to keep hair out of your mouth then you can too. Are there any others that agree or disagree with me. I am not looking to start a disagreement just a friendly discussion. No, I personally do not feel its a fair exchange, but I kinda like it that way. If I get a hair in my mouth, I pick it out. lol. quote:
I have another question for the ladies on this area, maybe i should go to a diff forum for this but what the hell. Is it possible to not be able to shave due to causing hair to become ingrown. As both times i have shaved i have had this problem. I used a Venus shaver with a new blade and a body wash lather was very easy and through. If you shave daily, you might avoid in-growns. I shave every single day and don't have problem getting in-growns. I also noticed that when I first began shaving, there was more irritations etc, but once I was doing it daily for a while, it all stopped. You may want to try keeping it clean-shaven all the time---don't let stubble grown in. Do it every single day. And when you shave the inner labia, put a finger over your clit, hold the razor vertical to your labia and shave in an outward direction. This works quite nicely for the inner 'parts' of the female genitailia. (Sorry for the graphics) The pubic area itself is a cinch. I use the Intuition razor. Its a triple blade and has the shaving cream built into it and it goes around all the curves and things quite nicely. All one step. Very easy. Keep in mind that you have to shave in all different directions depending what area you are doing. I personally shave against the hair growth. Always make sure there is enough foam or cream on your skin too. Whether its from the can or the slimey stuff on the Intuition blade (which is really nice). If you're pulling that razor around on wet skin without enough of a buffer, you're going to have alot of problems and irritations. And replace the razor often. Don't use one that you've been using for a while. As expensive as they are, they're only good for about 12 shaves or so. Good luck!
