i know that i will be kicking myself to actually answering one of your questions, because any time i have done so in the past i have gotten back a completely confusing answer that had nothing to do with (a) the question you originially asked or (b) my answer to said question. There are many people both Dominant and submissive who are also believers in Jesus Christ. There has been more than one thread on the issue and if i was as good as LA on pulling up past threads i would post the list here. If this is really a question that you sincerely want an answer to i will answer it offline, in fact, when you and i talked at one point about possibly meeting, something i decided not to do, we did discuss it then.

heartfelt

Sorry I did not recall the discussion of meeting.

My appologies.

See, I personally think it would make the message boards more interesting if everybody took everything out of their profile. <g>

Then we'd have no choice but to try and figure each other out, lol. No using profiles as a buffer.. no peeking to guess a person's intention... no interest list as a shortcut to somebody's personality!

Actually that still goes on right now WITH the profles intact.

So do you ever post something in your profile fully knowing you have no desire to do or explore it with the intent of luring new dating material by looking like something you really are not?

I know two doms who claim to be 10 years younger on their profiles than they are.  They both told me no one would be interested in a dom in his mid 60's.

When I first created my profile I didn't post everything I was interested in because I was not ready to do that.  Some things I was not ready to admit to myself, nevermind everyone else on here.  I did not; however, post anything I Had no interest in.

I think if you were going to put false things in your profile you really never have any intention of meeting someone.  I try to be completely honest at all times so there are no surprises when we meet.

sirdiscipline,

no. i'm not in such need of new partners that i have to misrepresent myself in order to attract someone. what would be the point? then i'd have to keep up this facade of whatever attracted them in the first place. too much time and energy, in my humble opinion.

annabelle.

Michael, at least one of us s types would really like to see what you just posted on this thread on all the question threads that come from the OP.

Does being submissive conflict with your expression and devotion of being a devout christian?

How can you serve another when religion imparts another path?

Sincere, real time, experienced open-minded Christian submissive

wonders why you think one can't be submissive, slave, in the lifestyle, and also be a Christian?
(thinking this is a great thread on it's own, but I think it's been done.)

greets proudsub & ross,

they just haven't met the right submissive yet.  :) unfortunately, misrepresenting one's age isn't likely to make the squicked ones any less squicked (perhaps more so) and the non-squicked ones are likely to get squicked by the deception.

annabelle.

Yes.

I have text in my profile that says "If you're married or otherwise attached and concealing your search for a Mistress, please do get in touch."  I'd like to remove this line from my profile, but I can't seem to find it ...  *quirking an eyebrow*

No, I would not see the value in my doing so. Also, a listed interest does not always and exclusively mean active physical participation.

Kinda defeats the purpose of having the ability to direct someone to my profile and tell them to look closely and pay attention when contacting me.  Though, I see it constantly. People do it with their interests, they do it with their sexuality and their relationship status too.  Why should interests be any different?
Problem is, if your looking for somehting lasting, "spicing" yourself up isnt going to make for a good trusting relationship, now is it?
