I used to consider everything very carefully. Now, I just let the chips fall where they may.

Greetings..

I act in My own Home as I will...those who don't like it can go elsewhere. In the society at large I do the same thing...I act as I will....sometimes I have positive results sometimes negative....I act as I am...to do else is to deny Myself. That simply is unhealthy...heh.

Hi A/all,
i used to try to see every possible react, "good or bad" before i acted, then i stopped believing in "good or bad" and worrying about reactions simply feel away with time.

If W/we are not here to be true to O/ourselves, to follow O/our minds, spirits, hearts why be here at all? W/we might as well be that chair in the corner or better yet let them harbest O/our organs now because W/we are not really O/our  living lives.

hope E/everyone has a great night,
little one

Currently I'll just say that if I gave an equal reaction to every action, my boss would have been put in a coma a long time ago due to my slapping him upside the head.

Hey, I have one of those too!

I'd love to say i consider everything before i act, but reality is that situations often require immediate action, and sometimes we just don't think before we speak. I've consciously worked on reducing my negative and often overly sarcastic attitudes, but they still sneak out now and then....sigh

I do not believe that every action has an equal and oppositie reaction, as some actions can have many different reactions, and sometimes, you just cannot be prepared for them and sometimes, you just never 'expect' them.
You cannot always control them either, because you cannot control how other may react.

Therefore, as long as I am honest and comes from a place I am comfortable with, then whatever I do or say comes from me.  If the chips fall badly, then I will have to clean up the mess... but I cannot and will not be held responsible for any negativity another person my feel or react with just because I am being me.  Communicate with me, about it - don;t just give up and die.

Peace and Rapture

This pretty much sums it up for me.  As long as I am not disobeying him and I am being true to my inner self then I let the chips fall where they may .  How other people react to my behavior is not my responsibility and not something I try to control.

I attempt to remain concoius of how my actions will affect both myself and others.
I believe that all things are related and that all actions do cause a reaction, although I may never know what that is nor have control over it in the bigger picture. I choose to live my life with that in mind.

For a further more relaxed answer- my behavior and speech is on a highly controlled leash about 85% of the time when I am social with anyone except my partner.

With my partner it's probably about 10% of the time where I actually take time to think and process and control my responses at this point.

I consider the reaction before action

Interesting statement.
But then what if you know the reaction may be negative, yet your action was positive.  Do you lose out yourself, and possibly lie or deny something, just to be a saviour of another?  Considering is not the same as acting upon the consideration.

Wonderful post as usual dark,
Lately, I have noticed that many of the things that I say with good intentions are not always
taken in a positive manner.
Humans can be very funny creatures, it is interesting how many rather not accept ideas or opinions
that might help them, and just go the opposite way.
The best way to live I suppose, is when you say something with good intentions and someone choses
to take it negatively, try to explain if you can or want, and go about your life.
Again, I am really amazed at how people purposely twist something positive and turn it into something
negative, sometimes on purpose.

I make the best choice I can with the information I have at the time.

If it turns out bad, well I'll deal with it then.
