Status: offline 		I think a big problem and something to keep in mind is that humiliation causes emotional pain.  That just doesn't go away quite the same as physical pain. 

It's also impossible to see and difficult to assess what damage you are causing.  How would you feel if, through negligence, you caused permanent physical impairment to your submissive?  Would you feel any less responsible for causing permanent emotional impairment?  Or does it mean little to you because you don't have a visible reminder that it's there and you aren't the one having to struggle to deal with it?

For some, as they've noted here, humiliation is desired and appreciated.  For others, not so.

I can understand your situation, but I would still advise caution... after all, we all know that no masochist has ever desired or asked for anything that might be harmful to them.
