But, that would depend on your definition of the word slave, and that's rather dangerous around here.

Status: offline 		Yes -- at clubs like Hellfire or Paddles in NYC (not real cash, you get "money" per visit to the club) and at conventions for funding raising usually.

GLLA has a poolside auction every year and some groups do it to raise funds for AIDS or for other charities or to help cover some costs for leather titleholders.

Me, personally?

What do you mean by experience?

I've been to them, watched them, bidded on people, never won one but I did pool "funds" with another person at Paddles one time to help her get a "slave" for a scene or two.

That's what these are -- you "buy" for a scene or for a few hours or for some specific activity.

If it's a club, it's for a scene.

If it's for a charity event, it might be for an evening or a day, probably not a weekend especially if it's gonna to happen in private. The 'sale' is for something there at the convention for example.

Status: offline 		What we need are some master's to be auctioned...and for a specific scene or play. Now there's a plan. Of course the more experience, the higher the price. Iam a think'n though...the slaves have no real 'currency' do they ?

An evening or scene with a well-known and respected figure in the greater or local community would be a good way to raise funds for charity.

It's similar to those date auctions you have in the vanilla world. The guy who is auctioned off with the dinner to X restaurant or show; the woman who is auctioned off with her picnic basket of food she made. In my high school the 4H club (argiculture club) would auction off hours of labor to help fund a scholarship for some senior going off to college to major in a ag field.
