As a health care person who sees ums and as a person who wants to preserve nerve endings in such a vital place, I would never circumcize my own um (fewer and fewer people are). I fleetingly read an article that talked about how it primed pain receptors in individuals who had had this procedure done.

With sexual partners, I am *used to* seeing a circumcized cock. It looks "right" because it's what I'm accustomed to. I had not experienced circumcised until late last year... and to be honest - it just was nowhere near as fun to play with. It was actually quite challenging and I enjoyed it less than uncircumcised encounters Ive been having all my life.

Although, as an American, I am accustomed to the cut cock, i am also open minded enough to consider that the natural way may in fact be better or at least different. You would most likely be correct that when it comes to vaginal sex, once penetration has occurred, less lubrication is probably needed. The penis tends to move back and forth within the foreskin, so depending on the depth of the thrusting, the amount of lubrication is less critical than when a woman is being penetrated by a circumcised penis.

You appear to have a very enlightened view on the issue of circumcision. While having its roots in a religious context, it has taken on a very large cultural context over the latter half of the last century, particularly in western civilizations. The same can be said for plastic surgery, a connection with an increased emphasis on external things, appearance and aesthetics perhaps?
