There is the fact that some sensitivity would be lost with the lose of skin and receptors.
However, my father was circumsized late in his life, he was in his late 20s I believe. This is one of those when my father had a real honest heart to heart with me. He told me that it was one of the best things he ever did for himself and for their marriage. He claimed it made their sex life much better.
It also seems to have helped my mother's health because there is a risk of infections unless the man does keep himself very clean which my father had not been taught to do as a child or younger man.
As a male whose foreskin is still intact, I think I can respond to some of what has been asked and commented on above by women. Having been born in SE KY, it was not the norm for boys to be circumcised. When I was 3-1/2 or so, we moved to West Central Ohio, where indeed it was the norm, and I felt very different in the "locker room" while growing up around the other boys who had been circumcised, at times being teased for being different in this regard; something I had no control over but which I wouldn't say was particularly emotionally damaging to my self-esteem. I also don't recall every being rejected by a woman for not being circumcised. [:)]
Cleanliness is something that can be learned, and to me really isn't an issue. Cleanliness for the man is actually just as important for him as it is for his partner. If he lets it go to the point where things could cause a fungal infection in his partner, he could cause one for himself as well. If your sub doesn't maintain his cleanliness underneath his foreskin, as a dominant that problem should be easy enough for you to solve. If not, then I'd think you have another problem that needs resolved. [8|]
When it comes to having "safer sex", a foreskin can be a problem. The foreskin tends to move back and forth underneath a condom, often trapping part of the condom between the foreskin and the penis; in particular between the foreskin and the head. This greatly decreases the sensitivity I experience when wearing one and causes problems with the condom trying to "walk" itself foreward and off the end of the penis. I recently learned from a saleswoman at an adult store (Condoms to Go in the Dallas area) while purchasing condoms for myself after ending an LTR (where having safer sex had not been an issue for many years) that placing a rubber o-ring at the base of the penis over the condom greatly reduces this problem, both in terms of sensitivity as well as the problem of the condom walking forward on the penis. [:D]
Because of being protected and "sheathed" from outside contact with other stimuli (underwear or any other kind of physical contact with clothing, etc.), the head of a penis with a foreskin is indeed far more sensitive than a circumcised penis. A man with a foreskin can masturbate without using any kind of lube. The foreskin will naturally extend back and forth covering the head as the hand moves back and forth, thus reducing the friction the head is exposed to from direct contact with the hand as a circumcised penis would be; another reason it is more sensitive when fully exposed. If a woman retracts the foreskin with for example an o-ring placed at the base of the penis, she can have lots of fun with the head of an uncircumcised penis compared to a circumcised one due to the dramatically increased sensitivity. When masturbating or engaging in stimulation play with my Mistress using lube and a retracted foreskin, I am very sensitive compared to when my foreskin is free to roam back and forth with the motion of a hand to cover the head of my penis. During penetration without a condom, the same thing would apply in terms of increasing an uncircumcised male's sensitivity to the contact his penis makes with the walls of a woman's vaginal cavity. What I'm sharing is based primarily on my personal experience along with comments shared by other uncircumcised men I've known over the years.
