This silly post has sprung out of Wyrd's new nick  (and good luck with all of it, Rich)...

If you chose your collarme nick for some reason... have you changed past what it what meant?  If you have, have you changed your nick?

I no longer think I embody the sense of this word anymore and should probably change to something like 'crotchetysexlessspinster' but can't be bothered....

Anyone?

No.  I haven't changed.  I will always love the music of Steely Dan.

I had been using William Wizer as a nick even before I registered at my first internet forum and now it's part of who I am so I won't change it.

Nope...I have used the nic "ScooterTrash" for many years on multiple sites. If it automatically offends someone, I figure they don't know what it means and/or they wouldn't be someone I would be interested in talking to anyway.

Alas, it is one of the mandatory contractual obligations to be a member of the ESSS.   (I get a 10% discount on yarn and cat neutering with that membership)

I would agree with you cuddleheart; you are a sweet and lovely woman begging a mans embrace.  Your name very much suits you.

I am not happy with the name I chose but I just live with it. If a femme slave offered herself to me, 24/7 as the saying goes ,I would be totally confused.

Dont stop wanking Puella ,  it does you good lol
You dont have to think about me he he he he eh

Not really. I couldn't have got closer to saying as much as I wanted to say and saying nothing much at all.

It's just a CM name. I'm not known by it anywhere else.

(as a technical aside, your name and my name mean the same thing.... though, I did choose mine for it's previous meaning, which is really why it is no longer appropriate by any stretch of the imagination)

I chose My username after hearing that particular phrase in a lyric;I liked the imagery of a colour called "HalloweenWhite" and I was trying to be different.

Not sure what people make of this but I actually didn't think of using what I was looking for in a sub, or by extention what I was into as part of the name I used, it would be too long and would look stupid.

I've thought about changing it a few times because it's long for people to type, but I still like the sound of it and I actually got a note on here from someone who said they liked it too.

Well, most people with 'curious' or 'newbie' in the nic will probably outgrow it sooner or later.  WyrdRich is still pretty applicable.  Pretty much anyone who gets to know me notices that Rich is kinda weird.

You've given me a horrible thought though, Puella.  What if I have one of those 'Road to Damascus' moments of transformation and become an ultra-orthodox Gorean or decide I must kneel for JessicaPower?  I'll be SOL with this one.

have always used this nic ... was given it when i was like 13... it used to be ironic because i was a terrible tomboy as a child ... but now its a truism because i am marshmallow in human form ... so even though i have changed around my nic .. my nic has stayed with who i am

lol, abstinence well spent then.....I would ask if you have any ideas on when you're coming out of retirement, but I suppose that's between a girl and herself....

My nickname was given to me by one of my brothers who was a long distance truckdriver.
I was in the Navy and the Coast Guard so he said it makes a good C.B. radio handle.
I think it suits me.
