Having lived through the riots of the 60's and witnessing first hand with my own eyes, being caught in the mayhem and terrified for my life i can attest to racism in the north. The racism i saw was hate filled, violent and out of control. It's a different animal here - not just a bunch of ignorant rednecks at a BBQ making stupid comments about things they will never have the courage to actually go out and do unless they outnumber a poor victim they happen upon a lonely isolated area. To say we don't have those issues here is just not true. There are neighborhoods even today, Italian sections in the Bronx (i am not bashing Italians, i have Italian relatives), that if a black person happens to venture into, alone, may get their head bashed in. It actually happened and the poor black man who was running from them ran out into a parkway and was run over and killed. This wasn't that long ago. NY and probably many other "northern cities" are very racially and ethnically diverse. You can have a 3 block neighborhood of one culture next to another 3 block neighborhood of a totally different culture - Irish, German, Italian, Jewish, Russian, Hatian, Cambodian, Jamaican, Mexican, just to name a very few. And people understand what neighborhoods mean, many times danger if you're not the right ethnic group or color. Why do you think gangs form and kill each other?? i knew people, a prominent business owner, who lived in Westchester, one of the richest counties in the country who told me it's just a secret sort of code that when you sell your home - you don't sell to blacks, it's illegal but there are ways to get around this sort of thing. i don't like it, but thats the way things are here. i have read more then one report about crosses being burned on peoples lawns. One of the largest congregations of KKK is right in Danbury CT from what i have been told. i have seen "skin heads" in my local HS. You can read a lot about HS tensions surrounding racism. Cops in NYC have been accused numerous times of using unecessary force and killing innocent black people, underlying racism within the police force. It's alive and thriving up here. But thankfully the good outweigh the bad and for the most part people embrace the differences more and more and to see interacial couples is pretty common. Racism isn't just white vs black either - There is even racism within the black culture against other blacks having to do with skin tone - being lighter or blacker as well as jamaican vs hatian vs american born blacks - they fight against each other. Big problems as well with koreans and blacks in NYC fighting for territory in sections of the city that were at one time predominantly black. The list goes on and on. One other comment i want to make is to whoever said all white women secretly crave black men because of some sexual myth that they are bigger or better in bed - You sound like you should be in a gossipy high school bathroom, talking with your immature friends. Grow up. Most mature. well rounded, intelligent people date and love the man not his cock.

Oh, okie dokie. So back to the OP. I think. I've looked through a couple of profiles in my time here on the boards, and I haven't really seen a specific request for either white doms, or black doms. Or hispanic doms, or asian doms, or whatever. I have, however, seen specific requests for the subs and slaves. And I figure that it's just preference. So then my question is this: For those that are black doms, or white doms, or whatever...and like to see the contrast in the skin, my question is simply, "Why?"
