The death of a close loved one is so devastating. In addition to the pain there is the feeling of helpless frustration. You want to put things back the way they were but are powerless to do so. Go ahead and grieve, it is a necessary purging on the way to finding joy in life again. And, while you will always carry a sorrow for those who have been lost, you will find joy again. My deepest condolences.

It is always devastating to lose somebody close, an experience I have been through several times, and it never gets easier. I know that I have, and have had, my own personal ways of dealing with each of these passings, but what works for one may not work for another, but one thing you are obviously blessed with is the thoughts and support of a great many people here. It is heartening to know that when you are ready, you have friends here who obviously care very much and who will be able to listen and provide comfort. My thoughts are with you.

Hang in there M, I love the fact that you used present tense also, when speaking of your brother. Words fail me at times like this, so I am wishing you as much peace as possible. Take baby steps, and be good to yourself.
