I wonder...if I start a cry-wah-wah thread, will I get this much attention too?

aww...

I personally reply to EVERY message that I get here.  If it was worth someone's time to write it, then it is worth my time reading it.

I hope that you had a happy Easter.  :)

There is a difference between not receiving a reply which I do not many a time and ignore it and having them delete it unread.  If it is going into a bulk email folder than why not put what your bulk options are set to in your profile ?  If someone says they only want someone younger than 40, I do not write them.  If I send a 1 liner it is because I do not expect a reply or I already know them and have exchanged emails with them regularly.  What is so hard to say I do not want someone over 50 or I want someone local only or I am taken or under consideration in the profile.  I just wrote it all in just over 1 line.

Even if they read them, they do not owe you a response.

because sending a message is a way to know more of that person. and I would like to get a response even if it's a rejecting response. I find it strange that some of my messages aren't read and that that person didn't even look at my profile nor they delete the message.

BECAUSE THEY DON'T SEE THEM!
Go to your inbox and click on the button "Mail Controls" Now notice that you can set it so that any mail that doesn't match your settings can be sent to the bulk mail folder. How many of us ever check our bulk mail folders other than to empty them?

I don't know. I'm male. I receive so little messages that I don't use the bulk mail folder. even with that I check it twice a day to find it always empty (just in case some evil filter sends a message to that folder)

You may not set it, but many Domme/women do... They aren't even seeing your mails, so it has nothing to do with you personally.

I used to respond to each and every email I received, even ONE LINERS...

....however, in doing so I've picked up hanger on's.  Doms or subs who will constantly respond to my responses to their one liners.. I ended up spending loads of time politely sending emails back to people 'cause I didn't wanna be rude.

Example~

"g'day, dancer"

my response~

"G'day back atcha....thanks for the note."

Their next note~

"G'day dancer... i like video games to, what are you playin?"

My response~
"G'day (insert name here) thanking you for your note.  I'm playing American Mc'gee's Alice.  It's a game based on Alice in wonderland, where wonder land has gone evil and the mad hatter is out to get everyone, the graphics are great and the script is amazing.

So, (insert name here ) you said you like video games too? What are you playin'?

His/her next note~

"g'day dancer, do you like big cock?

My next response~

"G'day (insert name here, same name as the last two notes, mind you)  thanking you for your note...  I'm sorry I am not intrested in anyone's big cock other then my Masters...
I'm married and only intrested in him, but thanking you for your intrest and good luck in your search, I hope you find the one for you..

~now this is where I think, "okay, he'll get the point and move on, but the next day, I'll log on, see the red READ MESSAGES button, and I just HAVE to look, and YEP there's another note

NOTE~

"g'day dancer...congrats on finding your one"

My response

~"g'day (insert name of the same person as before)  thanking you.  Take care.  ~dancer

~Now I'm really thinkin' "Good that's that then"..but NOOo the next day there will be that damn red read messages button, and once agian I jsut have to hit that button and what do I see...?

NOTE~  "g'day dancer, so do you like my big cock yet?"

This is where I just no longer respond to that person.

I'm glad to make friends, I hate to blow people off, and if the person noting me would continue to note me past the rejection with only friendly chat, without trying to get me to cyber submit, I'd continue to respond, in kind.

I often get a kick out of clever one liners, they make me giggle..I only wish people knew where to draw the line, or just keep things friendly.

You are talking to people that just do not read what you are saying...smiles.

Let me try to clarify one more time... it does not matter what your bulk mail settings are when it comes to others getting an email YOU sent. It only matters what THEIR settings are. If they have everyone from another country going to their bulk folder, or everyone over the age of 40, or everyone that is black, or everyone that is a couple going to their bulk folder... they will never see those emails and those emails will forever remain unopened and unanswered

I wouldn't take it personally. Some don't see it because it goes to bulk folder, some just don't responde. I try to responde to everyone but sometimes I just don't have the time. Try writting people that state that would be interested in someone like you on their profile.

If all of you who have replied focusing on the fact that it was one liners or holiday wishes you missed his point. He carefully checked the profiles to make sure he fit within what they requested and what they didn't want. His emails were deleted without being opened so they didn't know it was a one liner or anything else because it wasn't opened. Plz don't use that worn out escuse that there is too much mail etc. It takes 2 clicks to delete mail without being seen. It takes 5 clicks to send a preset reply and not even 10 seconds of your time. If you tell someone your involved and they keep mailing anyway, then they deserve what they get.{whatever that is}.
To have a polite community/society you can't ignore the problem it will only get worse. The group has to decide what's desired and shame those that misbehave into behaving more within what the group desires.
You don't think that happens now.........look at all the flamers who pounce on someone who goes outside their boundaries.

The fact that you fit in what their profile says doesn't mean that they don't have other parameters not written in their profiles which you don't meet. Or that they dislike something in your profile.

If I write back saying thanks for the note, then I'm guaranteed to get an email within days at most asking, or demanding, me to meet them and play on the first date. If I'm foolish enough to say thanks but no thanks, then 1 out of two times the next response will be to tell me that I'm: too fat/old/ugly to fuck, that I'm obviously a man with a female profile, that he hopes I get raped/dismembered/murdered.

If I don't answer then I only get a vile response maybe one time in twenty. Much better odds if I don't answer someone who doesn't appeal to me.

No, that is not exactly what he said... what he said was this

He is stating that they owe the world to tell everyone how they set up their bulkmail options. Basically he is saying that women should put every preference that they have on their profile so he can make sure his email will not be filtered out. Now in theory this may be a polite thing to do, but I do not think I have ever read a profile that outlined bulk mail settings for the world to see, and it is doubtful people even consider the angst of those who email them that they never even knew existed....It is not even in their awareness that people are on this forum bitching about them deleting emails unread. Most people on the other side do not read the forums. So basically people come here and piss and moan about something like they want a genuine answer, and when they get one they piss and moan about that.

I reallly dont think that most men understand just how many messages most women get here... LOL.. In the first couple of weeks or so here, I received over 300 messages!!! I counted them one day, so I know it was over 300 messages.  Some were repeated messages from the same men, so maybe it was only 200 different men LOL

Many of those initial messages were one liners, were just saying "hello" or asking me some sexually offensive question.   Many messages were also from Sadistic Doms who either didnt read MY profile, or were writing to tell me that I should try pain from HIM, that I will want it from HIM.  Some were from male submissives, which I really didnt understand LOL  They seemed to want sex, totally disregarding that I want a sensuous Dom, not sex with a male submissive.  Ummm there IS a difference, right??? LOL

90% of ALL of those messages were not in any way close to what I want.  Had they read my profile, they would have known that.  In the beginning, I did try to respond with the "Thanks but no thanks" as other ladies here have mentioned.  And as others have mentioned, I usually got some insulting, offensive reply.

I have a hard time believing that all of those men who complain about women not replying to their messages would waste THEIR time replying to alot of women who didnt interest them or didnt fit their exact criteria for the perfect sub LOL  Honestly guys... would YOU really respond to 300 messages, most of which dont interest you or are messages telling you how YOU should change what YOU want so you can be with them???

I have gotten to the point where I wont reply to the messages that dont really say anything.  If he cant write something that catches my interest, and our interests are opposite, then he just wont be the one for ME, he wont be able to Dominate me or satisfy me.  And I also know that I wouldnt be able to satisfy him, so why waste so much time writing replies???

If I wrote willy nilly to 100 Doms, not reading their profiles, or knowing I wasnt what they wanted, I would not expect them to reply to me.  I would be very surprised IF anyone wrote back in that situation.   OR maybe I should try that... writing "HELLO" to 100 Doms and see how many write something back to me... LOL..

just MY two cents LOL

now that you say I remember that once my slave made a profile here. she didn't wrote ten posts and she already had about six men sending her messages.

yes. I would do it. If won't be the first time I do something like that (it takes less than an hour if you are a fast reader)

use a preset reply as totalmaster sugested. 10 seconds. block the user if you are worried about replies.

you will probably make at least 50 Doms happy of having a message. but sure some of them will block you (and some will send you some "undesired" replies of course)

either emails are "deleted unread" or even if you put th eeffort in to make it a letter they still do not even take the tiem to reply with " thanks but no thanks"

The OP quotes "Happy Easter".... does that actually need a response?

The silent treatment pisses me off also. Nothing worse than spending 20-30 min on a polite note and then the silent treatment. I've found a solution....don't write!  I haven't been pissed off for quite awhile now...lol
