Status: offline 		contrary to my openess on this site; i tend to keep to myself.  i find if i mind my own biz, there is less trouble. i find that at 43, + meds- that the entre body shaking orgasm is- well it cant be forced.

I dont go to chat rooms, or x sites. tho i do own porn.

the last quicky was becoming high risk. so i cut him loose.

my buddy jim has retired and is turning into whore of the century.  overdoing sex, or becoming too reliant on some one elses being, detracts.

A word of wisdom here. if you dont treat YOURSELF with self respect- then dont expect others to.

the whole chase thing gets silly.

i enjoy my solitude.

if sex is a sport and yo win by how often u done it- i dont think it is quite measured that way.  more like, did u take the time to enjoy teh sunset, call your mom, stuff like this.

yes ild lke some.  all this poses teh question- of when to say when?

it has been months for me.

Status: offline 		I've always had long intervals between relationships.   My longest  self imposed, celibate  interlude was 2 years...and it's currently been  7 months since i've been involved with anyone, romantically...or sexually..

Status: offline 		well lets see...The longest I have "gone" between girlfriends....Hmmm...Let's see...Well my friend  "k",black chick, was on my face and this other crazy assed white chick, "j" was riding the domidong and grabbing "k's" tits and they were making out....Though not "technically" between them I must have gone at least around 7-9 minutes!!!!...Yes, I was a God!!!

Now,  to answer the question directly..I have never experienced a domidrought.

Status: offline 		When I ended my marriage, I set out to "not get involved with anyone until I un-do the changes that I notice4d in myself that I found distasteful". I had no idea how long that would be and I didn't quantify a time period. It turned out to last a year.
 
I took it a bit to the extreme. I didn't socialize much, at all and forget me being anywhere near anything that even resembled a "date". I left a couple of functions because there was a young lady who kept expressing interest (and didn't want to take "No" for an answer) even after I explained (as much as I felt comfortable explaining) my situation.
 
I am not embarrassed about this, at all and I am over-joyed that I did it.
 
I believe each relationship requires a certain amount of time to "re-group", afterwards and the length of time this takes depends upon the nature of the relationship. In recent years, I find most only require a shower to be part of the "re-building" process.
 
On another note: Look at me. I'm an ugly bastid. There have been plenty of "dry spells" in my life which were NOT self-imposed that I could have done without.

Status: offline 		I have never gone long between partners when I wanted one. I had decided not to date for a while after my divorce, to make sure I wasnt going to do the rebound thing. It took me forever to get my FIRST boyfriend, but after that I never had too much trouble. Longest I was single was 8 months after the divorce.

Status: offline 		Hmmm, well, last time I had sex/made love was in August. I went out to the West Coast around Xmas to visit friends and meet someone but I decided very quickly that it wasn't going to happen between me and her so I said adios and went up to Vancouver.  My head wasn't really in the right place, either, and I'm not all that sure it is now. Honestly, I do still have some feelings for the woman I was with last August. So does she. We're friends now, we talk every day and share some fairly intimate things, but that's where it will remain. She's a kind woman with a caring heart, and I value our friendship.

Prior to that it was about a year or year and a half. I don't really keep track. Frankly, it has never been hard for me to find sex if I want(ed) it, and I have had a lot of partners. That just isn't what I want/need anymore.
