HarleyKitty, I feel for you!  What's your ride in the shop for?  Last summer, my bike was backed over by a guy in a van - he jumped out, REALLY afraid some big biker dude was going to come out and kick his ass, and instead got this hysterical female...said later he would have preferred the big biker dude!!!

just some last minute repairs and a new paint job....
I got cut off by a 15 year old teenager last year in April ... and did more or less a quick fix so I could continue to ride...
and now that I have the cash to get it fix properly.......... ended up doing a complete front end on it...... again
*shakeshead* typical older bike..

I was out biking the last 2 days along the river drive here, and snapping pictures with my new digital camera. I took pictures of the bike and my new 12 Disc CD changer. I had 12 metal CDs in it and I was head banging going down the road. I just uploaded the pictures to my photo gallery site. I have lots of nice spring pictures of wildlife in the last few weeks.

I don't always have spring rituals, but I do like to take pics with the wildflowers, hence my primary profile photo, and this year I planted a strawberry plant.

I have very little luck with plants, but I'm enjoying watching the lttle sprouts come up and encouraging them.

Lol Harley Kitty you will get that bike fixed soon and be on the road again. I just got mine out of the shop myself, but it was 80 degrees here in Maryland at last.  Hey I love those V-rods. I got the Electraglide for long rides it has plenty of luggage space and I tow a 2 person pop up camper with it.

I agree my bike is too much for local riding, but a 12 hour ride is great. I have made many 12 hour rides, I would rather ride it than trailer it some where. It has never been trailored yet.

Yes I knew what you said Harley, I did not imply anything about you trailoring a bike. I live on the East Coast and alot of people trailor their bikes to big shows, so they can take more luggage along.

I rode the whole Blue Ridge Parkway last fall it was great. I saw a few bears and I think one was pouncing around outside my camper at Mt. Piscgah NC. It was not a nice feeling because a bear killed a kid in Cherokee NC.  a month earlier. I want to go to that Motorcycle only campground in Va near the NC border I forget the name. I was thinking of a Niagra Falls trip this year. I need to put in for vacation and make my plans lol.
