Instead it was turned into a debate over the meaning of the post and the questions. In theory you failed the test. So can you read? Yes. Do you turn what you read into something its not? Sometimes. Sometimes we over analyze, over debate and just plain spend to much time worrying about the petty things. Like why does the posters directions not make sense? They dont make sense because the poster wants to know if you can focus on the topic, without getting wrapped up in the petty details. The focus being the questions proposed for thought. The details being why it was posted on a open board and replys were allowed.

I enjoyed having confused him for a change. Ah, well that makes sense..for me I'm home sick trying to write a frickin paper on Nuclear Medicine. You answered w/a kind of related comment, anyway (but not the actual OP's questions). I felt I was in a sort of a Catch-22 position when I did it, so I went on to explain why I did (and maybe should not have bothered). I see your point, and hey, if anyone wants to discuss the OPs topic, I am game. But, I've already answered his query in some detail. He's not going to give me any feedback (I am guessing), so I won't ever know if it mattered, either, or made sense to him. He's not even bothering to host his own thread, so I can't see how this is a life-or-death deal for him, even if he's received some pointed comments. Sorry if that sounds cold, I am truly not a cold person. I just really thought it was an immature request from an OP. And, believe it or not, I don't normally bother to comment, if I am irritated about some little thing any OP might do that I wouldn't necessarily do - it's a waste of time, IMO, and I have the option of not reading a thread, if I don't like it. There has been once or twice, but not usually. I just wondered where this request could possibly have come from, except from a completely self-centered POV, and I guess that is what really bugged me about it. Plus the remark about how "everyone" needs to "take a fresh look at themselves in a mirror". C'mon. He knows "everyone"? I am not a cynic. Maybe it would have been better to say nothing, I dunno. Gosh I feel kinda guilty now (really). But, where is he if he is feeling "misunderstood"? If he doesn't care enough to even make comment one, or even be around to clarify anything re: His topic, I can't get overly concerned, but do see your point, a bit. - Susan
