Greetings Masters and Mistresses:
Greetings fellow slaves:

i don't know what they put in the coffee, but they sure do put something in the white hot chocolate that makes me wonder if they do put some sort "special ingredient" into it that makes me want to keep going back for more and that is a very expensive treat but mmmmm it is definitely a good one.

Blessed Be
cariad

No, I am currently re-reading Nicomachean Ethics and a book on the social psychological idea of good and evil... so I would probably be reading one of those [;)]

Well... I hope that I am not frosty, but I do not have a sexual response, correct.

So maybe you can explain to me how not to get a little hot reading Aristotle???

FukinTroll -> RE: What crack does Starbucks put in my drink? (4/15/2007 4:47:27 AM)

Starbuck's Frappuccino

                    1/2 cup fresh espresso
                 2 1/2 cups lowfat milk (2 percent)
                    1/4 cup granulated sugar
               1 tablespoon dry pectin

Combine all ingredients in a covered container. Shake until
    sugar and pectin are dissolved.

topcat -> RE: What crack does Starbucks put in my drink? (4/15/2007 4:48:52 AM)

It's the Barrista spit that makes the differance...

puella -> RE: What crack does Starbucks put in my drink? (4/15/2007 5:31:00 AM)

Hmm... dunno really, maybe it is just the pleb in me but, Aristotle has never gotten me hot.... did have a professor once who was pretty hot who gave an excellent Aristotilian lectures...but it was definately his own mojo that made him scrumptuous.

Aileen68 -> RE: What crack does Starbucks put in my drink? (4/15/2007 6:24:10 AM)

Sooooo...I take it that this is not the thread to declare my aversion to Starbucks mud and my true love of Dunkin Donuts?????

bandit25 -> RE: What crack does Starbucks put in my drink? (4/15/2007 6:25:42 AM)

OMG..DD French Vanilla...YUM!

puella -> RE: What crack does Starbucks put in my drink? (4/15/2007 6:32:06 AM)

*puts on the boxing gloves and waits for the Troll to whip out his lawn chair for the ensuing 'chicks in a pool of chocolate pudding' fight*

Oh no, you can certainly state your preference for inferior product.... everyone knows dunkin' donuts is for yokelly wussies.....

Aileen68 -> RE: What crack does Starbucks put in my drink? (4/15/2007 6:33:17 AM)

Starbucks is like drinking sludge.  It is so strong and bitter that you can't even taste the flavor of coffee.  Ugh.  Bring on the pudding!

puella -> RE: What crack does Starbucks put in my drink? (4/15/2007 6:36:40 AM)

You just need a more refined set of taste buds to appreciate the gorgeousness of both bitter and sweet, strong and weak, floral and acidic, earthy and elevated tastes... but I will grant you, some people only want to taste homogenized mediocre 'joe' mixed with hot water.... mmmmmm pudding!

I had a medieval lit professor like that in college. *purr*

Just taking Nicomachean Ethics for example, a lot of it can be read in a context of BDSM, particularly the early parts.  Tho I would recommend the entire book to Dom(me)s especially in this context as an interesting treatise on ethics and morality in interpersonal relationships.  As for Aristotle generally, I'm sure both 'D' and 's' types would find his foundation in teleology interesting in its argument for both the intrinsic and extrinsic purpose of all things (and therefore each of us).  Of course...I can find a sexual slant on almost any subject, so maybe it's just me! [8|]

As for the actual topic at hand -
I don't drink coffee, but some of the non-coffee drinks Starbucks has are heavenly too...hot vanilla creme, hot chocolate, caramel apple cider, and LOVED their toasted coconut blended creme frap before they discontinued it, but the double chocolate chip blended creme frap is a pretty tasty substitute!  Sorry, Aileen, but Dunkin's hot chocolate is barely drinkable...on a good day...if it's really early in the morning...and I'm only half conscious...at most!  lol

CrimsonMoan -> RE: What crack does Starbucks put in my drink? (4/16/2007 8:16:16 PM)

Hmmm actually topcat its not spit its a special blend of dehydrated cum from their workers. Both male and female works are ordered to give a sample of their love juices and the tastiest are choosen to flavor not only the drinks but also the food.

As for DD. I am from Vegas we had DD but it was over shadowed by Winchell's Donuts. The best sweets to be found in the desert, but after moving up to maine I have learned to love DD.
