I am curious if posing as a thoughtful person works to hide the intellectual void and what sort of women fall for this tactic?

Well as rude as it sounds, I'd have to say that stupid people attract other stupid people.  Or maybe desperate people attract other desperate people.  Or a little of both.

It appeals to dumb and naive chicks.  Of course I'm guessing on this because I am not dumb.
I think people tend to find their equal in intellect.

I would guess stupid ones.  If someone has a brain in her head it won't take very long to look past the facade.

Can the thoughtful guy get a hard on?  That's very important in my decision, you know.

Some people have a Rescuer and/or Teacher archetypes. To them,  talking to a "lost" or "new" person can be highly satisfying. If either are working in their shadow aspects, then, yes, the person acting like they need to be rescued or to be taught can get laid....among other things.

Will posing as someone who wants to get laid get you a relationship with someone thoughtful and intellectual, or do men just keep falling for that tactic?

Once the person ran out of cue cards to read from, it might get a little tricky.

I think you hit the nail right on the head (lol, no pun intended).  I have found myself physically attracted to someone, but once he opened his mouth and something unintelligible came out, that was the end for me.

Although, men tend to be more visual creatures than women.  I would imagine, if a man is attracted to a woman with a mind, the physical beauty will only keep him interested for a short period if she happens to be dumb.

Given that, in the het community, most men trade relationships for sex and most women trade sex for relationships, yes. In general, but not always, a woman's top love language is not sex, but some other relationship-type language like quality talk or quality time. In general, but not always, a man's top love language is sex/physical contact.

Posing as anything you are not is a recipe for disappointment. You know that, Michael!

Asking the question might get me to talk to you more...but if you are actually stupid, it will show in the intervening conversations between the initial question and getting laid. So, no, it doesn't work.
It might make a great surface covering, but if there isn't any intelligence to back it up, it shows...and rapidly.

I don't think it does, because if posing stupid questions got people laid we'd see the questions stop when they do get laid. Since the people spend so much time tending to their stupid threads, it is obvious they have no time to fuck.

Do you think if this tactic doesn't work under one screen name, it be successful under the new screen name?  It may work for new, stupid cm users.
