I was sitting at lunch today in a very small, very bohemian little pseudo-Mexican ultra cheap and not so bad eatery having a beer. The young girl (and in fact most of the staff there) is young, unpretentious, obviously unconcerned with material things and to some degree, physical things. She is not societally acceptable with her many obvious piercings and tattoos, lack of makeup or willingness to succumb to the products and time (or waste there of) to make her look more culturally beautiful... mascara, long hair and the products needed to maintain it, shiny, bright hued lips and clothes purchased more to sell her body than to clothe it. Sitting alone amoung gregarious people sometimes sparks strange thoughts and this is what I was thinking of, and still am thinking of.... Who would I be if I were young, vigorous and unobligated? I do not know that I can even fathom an answer. Who would you be if you were young, vigorous and unobligated?
