Status: offline 		Lately it seems like any thread I read has a post from a wannabe dom who is patronizing as hell. He goes about telling people who do not submit to him what they have to do in order to be a good sub/slave. And then pats others on the head when they say something he approves of.

I'm grinding my teeth in response to his bad manners. I never agreed to submit to everybody, only to one. The details of our dynamic are not known to this subless troll, nor do I imagine are the intimate details of anyone else's life.

Hell, I'm supposed to only submit to my One and not to anyone else. Yet this creature feels he has the right to order every sub on the site around.

Anybody else feel a desperate urge to beat some sense into people like this?

There *must* be support groups for people like us ~
It grates my nerves .. when a supposed Dom says "jump"..
..I grit my teeth and say (as politely as i can) "I am sorry, but I can't"..
I actually had to tell someone tonight that I'm not a doormat.

It's not quite that bad.  But hey, subs fawning over doms in this fashion is nothing new.  I get aggravated more when I say something, and then a male dom says EXACTLY the same thing and all the fem subs swoon of what he said.

It was worse when I solely identified as a slave.

Status: offline 		IMO, he is displaying his ability to "be Dominant" for all to see, maybe to lure potential submissives to read his profile or otherwise contact him. Yeah it can bug me, too. I mostly try to ignore it.

For the record, I don't consider Michael to be patronizing. Somone else, however (not on this thread) does definitely spring to mind. Chill - he was joking, for heaven's sake (at least IMO).

Occasionally,  if the thread is about some topic I have a passion for and am deeply participating in, I've gotten just as oozingly patronizing in return, which can be amusing, especially if it's then reciprocated, and he never catches on this is what I am really doing.

I know this response on my part is kinda petty, and possibly passive-aggressive as hell, but if his over-patronizing ways really bug me, I do find it in a small sense of consolation - since he isn't usually aren't relating to my comments on any individual-personalized level anyway. I find it more amusing that he doesn't seem to catch on, frankly.

I definitely get those urges to beat someone senseless... but seldom get the urge to beat them to their senses.

those wanting to be senseless are rather fun for all envolved.  But that other group is wasted effort... no matter how much you beat them.. they don't get any smarter.

Status: offline 		This is not only the M.O. of so-called wanna be doms, but I have noticed that there are a lot of people that the moment you disagree with them or don't see things their way, you are given all sorts of wonderful names.  This goes for Doms and subs.  It's a shame adults can't tolerate being disagreed with.  Oh well, such is life.

Status: offline 		LOL.. I think there are a few Doms on this site, that need to be taken out at the knees by a group of sub/slave holding weedwackers... 

Dom is just a title that some people hang on themselves.  Does not imply they are a Good or Bad Dom... just that they are Dom.  

Hell some Doms are complete idiots, some are assholes, some are nice.  Dom is just a general title.
