If I had to guess roughly, I would say a moon in cancer with aquarius rising is great because cancer is very emotional/clingly, but aquarius is the exact opposite, so must be a nice balance...
Venus in scorpio must be nice (intense/dark/sex/sex/sex)...

Secondly... please assist me as to where I mocked your belief? If that is how you read such, then it may be advisable to return to my initial post and re-read. I stated my belief was different to yours, I make no apology for that.

If I respond to siamsa, that is called 'casual banter'... it occurs on the board and within each thread between people who have grown to 'know' the posters, especially in the 'non Ls' sections. I learnt something about mice and as trivial as that may sound to some, I find it fascinating. I have a 'fetish' for knowledge... and that is something I would not deny.

I neither mock you, nor siamsa and her mouse info. She knows me well enough that I do not do that.

Your belief is as valid as mine. If I choose to believe different, then this is 'freedom of choice'. If you post something in an open forum, then be prepared that not everyone will agree with your view. If this is something you cannot accept, then do not post. That is your choice. I understand you are new to the board and I am sure you will, in time(should you decide to stay), become accustomed to the personalities and profiles of regular posters here. But my position stays the same. Nothing shapes me other than Demon. And in His care, I am what I become..

I'm not sure what my rising signs are, but I was born on May 16, 1979 in Shreveport, Louisiana if you'd care to look it up...

You need to know the time of day you were born at to know your rising sign.

I only know this because I had housemate who was quite into astrology, tarot, ruines and all that occult jazz. Being a curious person, I did ask questions.

I'm not a big believer in astrology. That said, I do respect people's right to believe in what they want. And I believe that if you believe something enough, it will be true to you. I also do find astrology to be mildly entertaining, and way too often, dead on. Though I have found stuff that is way off.

So here are my specs -- *checks the little note written lovingly by ex-housemate*

Sun in Cancer – which explains my kind, sensitive, intuitive nature, my strong lived emotions and my active imagination
Cancer rising – which explains my insight into human motivation, empathic and adaptable to various crowds and situations
Moon in Gemini – which explains the intellectual, creative and intuitive side deep down inside of me
Mercury in Leo - which explains my natural ability for leadership, management and arrogance ;)
Venus in Gemini - which explains my need for an intellectual rapport with someone before the affection sets it, as well as my dislike for heavy emotional commitment
Mars in Leo - which explains my dominant and dynamic sex drive and flair for the finer things in life

That's me, in a cosmic nutshell ;)

And to glassdoll... what I learned quickly when I got here was not to take too much to heart. A lot gets lost in this online communication. Knowing siamsa & angel from having read many of their posts, they would never do anything deliberately to hurt anyone's feelings or make them feel unwelcomed. Just realise that we are all here to have a little fun.

M'Lady A... I would love to 'meet' someone interested and practiced in rune readings, as I have yet to encounter such... they do fascinate me, but I have not had the chance to experience first hand... I enjoy tarot... now those I find intriguing. Someone introduced me to a set of Osho Zen cards, and I love them... ! Very interesting to read, and I love the time taken on the artwork.

Ladies and Gentalmen. I was born Aug 22, 1978 at 0208 am in Beaumont TX. Now what does that mean? It means when and where I was born and tells how old I am.

According to astrology I'm a Leo and a Fire sign. Chinese Year of the Horse and my element is dirty. Yeah I'm a dirty horse. Celtic year of the Cedar Tree. What does that mean?

Well to answer that question let's take all the thousands of ppl born that day and compare them to me. If you start looking at the similarities and differences you'll see that B days don't say a damn thing about a person.

Does one really need a Birth Day to tell who they are and what they are like? Not to mention what is in stored for them in the future? Is one really to belive that a certain allignment of planets and stars causes a magnetic or gravitational pulse on the brain which is going to discribe your behaviour for the rest of your life?

Read every horoscope in the paper. Don't you see how vague they all are and how each one talks about something that you can compare to your life? It's all a hoax. A ordeal for ppl who need something else to tell who they are because they're to damn lazy to figure themselves out. This symbol says this and this so that's what I'm going to act like. Oh come on wake up and have a wiff of some reality. We are who we are based on likes, dislikes, past experiences, teachings, and such. The stars, moon, and planets don't control us.

If someone born April 25 1976 is now in prison for a crime then does that mean everyone born april 25 or 76 has criminal tendencies or all violent?

Do you see what I'm saying Doll. Astrology, terra, ojeja, runes, palm readings, etc is all BULL SHIT! If you need them to depect every aspect of your life then you'll never achieve in knowing your true self accomplishing the goals you want to achieve.

You have to try everything atleast twice to know if you like it or not.
However, the eyes can say alot about your health And the feet say it all about your past.

Anything that points are directs your future is suggested probability that's most likely to happen. Think about it, it's easy to see a person and dicide the most likely time he/she will marry, have a good job, or when they are going to die due to bad habbits. It's all probablity but not %100 factual.

Take care and try to enjoy life rather than waste it trying to figure "what's it all mean?"

Take a look at yourself. your 18 with interest. You're more than likely going to hook with someone over the summer, have a nice relationship which will change your plans with school, it probably isn't going to last after a year, and then you'll find yourself living on your own with a job and start thinking about different educational opprotunities.

And that dear has nothing to do when you where born.

I found the best website that rips apart astrology while searching for information about it.
Do not read this if you are easily offended as it is extremely offensive. If rips on people that believe in astrology, self-healing, horoscopes and there is a slight comment towards women in general.
If you don't like it don't complain to me, you were warned.

Personally I think astrology is a fun thing. And a rather interesting hobby. I don't subscribe to it as a belief system, but there are certain politicians I don't have faith in either.

The important thing is to disagree politely and with respect, even if with passion.

I hope most people don't use the horoscopes that way.
I like to read general characteristics and try to see if people fit; I realize that day/time/year are all factors in addition to the mix of nature/nurture influences of every human being.
I began trying to read a little about it for fun, and because I like to understand different facets/reasons for behavior, and sometimes it fits.

Remember respectful disagreement though, even if it's not your cup of tea. M

I can't wait to see ppl on the stand explaining to a jury how it was there astrological signs and the allignment of the stars with planets that made them Rob a bank, Rape a kid, and kill three ppl.
