What about dust mites that live in your mattress and pillows?

Ooh, I have the ultimate freak out for you!  What if someone threw a fork across the room and it stuck in your shin.

So you bring revenge on your enemies 10 fold?  I knew there was a reason I liked you.

That was cruel, Diane.  I love it.

Being underground gets to me.  Not a full blown freak-out, but I don't feel right when I'm in a cave or a sub-basement or even a subway station.  Even going deep inside some massive structure like a dam, it feels like the whole weight of whatever is above just becomes an ominous force.  Once again, Disneyland is the exception.

I love the deep places of the world.  When I was a kid I used to explore the storm drain pipes....not the sewer pipes mind you, just the ones for rain water.  It used to make my mother nuts because she is claustrophobic and would freak out if she found out about it.

Demodex folliculorum: the demodicid, is a tiny mite, less than 0.4 mm long, that lives in your eyelashes follicles. Demodicids have a wormlike appearance, with legs that are mere stumps.

This is not a a rare disorder, or even a disorder. Everybody has 'em.

Yep. dozens at least--maybe hundreds--of stumpy-legged insects infesting the roots of your eyelashes even as we speak. A few may be peeking out right now to read this along with you.

Ever wonder why your mom told you not to rub your eyes? That's right: worm guts.

Have a nice day!

Oh I know, I talk to my demodicids all the time.  It makes them grow healthy, like a house plant lol

When I was a kid I used to have recurring nightmares about demon-infested catacombs / caves / tunnels hidden under some massive structure somewhere, and I always found myself going ever deeper in them almost every night as I slept

I loved being that scared, those were the creepiest, coolest dreams

And I don't remember ever encountering anything in there, I was always just missing "it"

Whatever it was

Door after door, stairs winding down, manmade tunnels turning into caves, lanterns dying

Fun stuff

I used to have dreams like that but I always found the nasties and went all Matrix on them   I kind of miss those dreams.  Mine are usually pretty boring these days.

Bugs.  Any sort.  And I'm with denika on the butterfly thing.  Anything with 6 or more legs ranks high on the heebie jeebie factor, I don't care how "pretty" its wings are (lady bugs included).  And don't even get me started on centipedes.

I'm with you there 100%, pretty, my ass! creepy flying worms!!   Rob and I once went to the botanical gardens at the Calgary Zoo..They need to post a sign somewhere that says there are bugs in there !!  We went in and there were butterflies everywhere, Rob had to get me out before the 'lovely, rare flutterby's' became extinct..... shiver................millipedes.....................

LOL I always lover your posts on this subject - FINALLY someone who can relate!  A friend of mine I haven't heard from in months just sent me an email a couple of weeks ago.  It said only, "I think you should get this" and there was a picture attached - of a blouse covered with the design of HUGE butterflies.

The bitch.

That moment when you wake up off a good drunk in a strange place and can't remember the night before.
Creepy.
But for some reason, I keep doing it.
LOL.
