I hope the folks who run CM will consider putting up another link for donations.

I was thinking the exact same thing, but didn't want to sound like I can give a lot given I'm hardly well to do financially.
Thanks for saying it... Hope they do it. M

What a cool idea Altavist !!!BlkTallFullfig, I can't afford a lot either, but with as many members as we have on this site, even if just a lot of members gave just a little bit, surely that would help...

I'll join my voice for those that hope a link is posted for contributions...........we are big enough in number here to hopefully make a difference, especially for those who help run this site as a free site.

Keep us posted please!

Be well and blessed be,

ModeratorThree (Trey) and I have traded a couple emails. She has set up a PayPal account under the email address that she posted earlier in this thread: [email protected]

I hope that you will support her in this hour of need. She deserves it. And it will show that we truly are a community.

I do have a paypal account, however I would never expect ANYONE to do for me. I have worked my entire life to build what I had and while utterly devestateing to lose ALL... I can one day replace most of it.

What hurt the most was that he burned all the things from when my chldren were babies.. first haircuts, blankets, teeth.. the list goes on. Yanno the silly things we mothers save and cherish. And since my children were kidnapped 3 years ago it was all I had of them. At least my parents have a few pics, but not like the ones I had. They have the ones I took to have done, I had the silly sometimes goofy snapshots. All gone. I miss the ability to at least be able to look back at a moment in time and remember the day it happened.

The upside with the kids is that I do have a few atty's I am talking to and may be able to get them back/ I took them to see thier dad for x-mas and his uncle a judge gave him custody and a divorce, I was never served. It will be a BIG case since there are so many things wrong about the case. I had a judge tell me here in my state in open court that "today I am ashamed to be a part of the judicial system, these things should NEVER happen".

My set back now is I have to get another home and furnishings, we were going next month for mandatory visitation, since it is now court ordered and he has failed to hold up his end.

Again, thank you for the well wishes and the very kind thoughts.

Isn't there a way through like paypal or something to send money to an email address? I'll keep watch on this thread to see where to do donations.

Mod Three --

I cannot say anything to make up for your loss. My heart aches for you, as a mother, I can only imagine what you have gone through and are going through.

At least it sounds as though you may be on the right path to force the legal system to do the right thing.

My prayers and best wishes are with you. I wish I had the power to do more, but until I can come across that magic wand to wave over the injustices in the world........I will do what I can, even if it is in the power of prayer.

Be well and take care of yourself. Please keep us advised on how you are.

Blessed be,

harmony

Am so very sorry about this horrible ordeal especially since you are ill and hardly in condition to take him on the way you need to.

I pray things turn out okay for you.
Hugs, M

Mod3,
I am glad you are in a safe place.
If you try some social services you
may be able to get help with money
and food...for the time being, and help
your folks so you can stay there until
you are in a better place emtionally
and physically to plan your next move.
You need to be in a Safe Place!
Wish you the Best!

Mod Trey!

My heart goes out to you and your family.

If you need a place to stay you are always welcome at my home. If there is anything i can do besides say a prayer for you i will be happy to do it. Please keep us up to date on how you are and anything you might need. Rest and recover your strength and determination. Remember the pictures are nice, but the memories are better of the good times you shared with your children. They will be back in your life and you will be back on your feet soon so rest and be strong.

Everyone knows you have no expectations from us, however, that does not negate the fact that, irregardless of the work you do on this site, you are a human being with similar interests in need, and we should help in whatever degree and however we can help. This includes the ones that have no money, but can keep you in their thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do, ( I have a friend that is an attorney in a few states, lives in Tucson, and just hasn't passed the bar yet there), olet me know. I will be glad to put you two in touch.

Whilst the paypal option for those who wish to gift Mod 3 (Trey) is an excellent one, I realise that not everyone can contribute monies. Therefore, (with Treys blessing) arrangements have been made for anyone who wishes to contribute a gift, to send any spare items they might have tucked away that they have not ever use. These might be towels, plates, pillows etc - any white goods(like spare iron/hairdryer etc) or clothing, tights or shoes.

If you wish to make a gifting to Trey, please contact me through this site for further details

Thanks to everyone in advance
Peace and Love

My sympathies for everything you are and have endured. what has happened in the last few days is atrocious at best and I cant imagine anybody going through it. the fact that you do and can speak about it here says quite a lot about you and though we have never mixed words I am glad to see you here among people that do respect you.

I dont know there is anything I can offer to help but I am with those that offer something, if even small, in a paypal account to help you.

good luck.

DW

lilv, I have contacted you in mail-

Due to donations bed size for sheets/duvet covers etc would be helpful if they can be king or queensize.

Towels and linen like that would be appriciated.

Anything, no matter how small would be so helpful. Things we take for granted in everyday life like a clock, or a set of spoons will be a huge help.

Thanks in advance to everyone gifting - It just shows how great this community and people can pull together in a crisis!

Peace and Love

So happy to see a spirit of giving, Angel I don't know if my message on the other side was sent to you, but if not please contact me as to how I can help out. Have any of you seen the movie," Pass it forward"? it is a beautiful movie but a tear jerker, it is about a young boy that had an assignment in school and he was to plan a way of doing something to make a difference. He set in motion this idea that if one person did something kind and good for another person, and that person in turn did something for someone else, that soon people would be making big changes in their communities and each others lives, this situation reminded me of this movie and the country song, "My name is Joe" about the guy who stopped to help an elderly woman on the road with a flat, and how he didnt take payment for it just told her to help someone out just like he did her, later down the road she stops for something to eat at a diner, and there encounters a waitress, very much pregnant, and leaves a 100 dollar tip and it turns out to be joes wife. I am so proud to be part of this "community" of compassionate people, Bless you all. and Modthree will be praying for you and wish you the best.

First I want to apologize for my not being available as much right now.

Secondly I would like to thank everyone that has sent well wishes and for the donations that have been recieved. I am still a long way off, but slowly getting there. Doesn't help the heads blew on the car the other day...but somehow I will make it.

I firmly believe this!

Thank you everyone!
