Someone mentioned that verbal humiliation sometimes comes in the form of what the sub is made to say, as well as what the Top says. In my last relationship, there were certain words that were, by his definition, reserved for use by 'free women'. The polite, euphemistic or scientific names for body parts, bodily functions, and sexual acts. I was not allowed to use those words, and had to find coarser words to communicate those things to him. Not, "Can we make love?" but, "Please, please fuck me." Not, "May I masturbate?" but, "May I please fuck myself?" Not, "May I go to the bathroom?" but, "May I please piss?" I love most names -- slut, whore, ect. That Master in particular never called me whore because he didn't like the term. Which is surely a Master's right. I do not mind being called 'fat' or 'pig', ect, in a scene environment. I find it deeply humiliating, but that works. I have, in the past, negotiated with a Top to have play sessions built around rather I was successful in my dieting on a given week, using those terms and other humiliation play that went with them.
