I don't think there is any type of humiliation that I am particularly uncomfortable with using . I kinda go with the "whatever gets into the head" sort of thing. If you get right down to it almost any type of humiliation [for the sake of kink] is not acceptable for general social interaction...which in fact is what makes it "humiliating".

My sister is black, my adopted daughter is racially blended (part black heritage) and I grew up in a racially blended family in Boston during forced busing. So yes, while verbal humiliation is hot, and I can see the appeal of racially based verbal humiliation - I've got hangups. The words stick in my throat. It's not logical - it's emotional.

First of all I'm from an area in South Texas were I learned prejudice because of My surroundings, but I never learned to be prejudiced. I took a black girl to My senior prom in High School and tought Myself at a young age not to see a difference in people. Some of My best friends are black and if they new I was calling My black slave a "nigger" we wouldn't be friends anymore; at least I don't think they would feel the same way about our friendship. So My slave "ginger21" has convinced Me that calling her a "nigger" is OK because it's what raelly gets her hot and I like to make the bitch hot; so why not?! First, I appreciate all the people that responded for me. They were all correct. Of course I've experienced racism in America and like you've said, it's never been anything "overt"...I grew up in a predominately white neighborhood, but went to pretty racially diverse schools. I've been followed in stores and crap like that and I know it's because of my race. So I find it utterly ridiculous that you would ask me if I'd get wet if some asshole walked up to me and said "Get outta my store, nigger!"...of course I'd be angry. Who wouldn't be? I have had both white, black, asian, mexican, and Amer-Indian slaves.. all have had a thing for humiliation. I was raised in a very un-prejudicial household.. Funny this topic has come up. Racism is a big deal for myself. Partly because of where I am from, and also because of family members/friends. I was born in Texas. We moved when I was 5, before any kind of 'bigotry' could take hold. Ten years down the road, we fly back to the area for my grandfather's funeral. As we left the house of a family friend, she mentioned something about "locking her doors at night, and keeping a gun." I was curious, as I have always been, and asked her why that was the case, since she used it in a present tense. She replied, as I will never forget, "My new neighbors are black". I was horrified. I denied it for years, that racism existed in my family.(Not my imdediate family, tahnk the high heavens). I realized, though that her racism was internalized. It was a bigotry that she had grown up with, and would never change at her age. I to would refuse to use racial slurs in play. Because of my past. I can't change the past, but I can change the future- though, saddly because of human nature racism will never go away fully- by not participating, o encouraging such behavior.

I've had many blk subs and as long as they are confortable with me, know I love and respect them, then racial humiliation has always been a turn on to both of us. That'll include the N Word amongst other racial abuse during play. Its become an integral part of my D/s relationships now. Some I've introduced it too, some have always fantasied about it, very few have had a problem with it. If a black person overheard us I'd explain its part of our play.
