Awww, that's too bad. Feel free to pm me on the other side and let me know how it went anyway. I was wondering if you went or not and almost asked in a PS when I wrote this.

I go through phases where I want to just cut mine all off too. Mine's down to the small of my back and while it grows quickly I'm still not sure how it would look short. A bit drastic to try and then not like it LOL.

I recommend the wig thing just to see. I backed it up with a wig that was the same as my old style. :) Even then it took me 4 months to decide. It wasn't somethingI just did on a whim.

omg I never even thought about that! That's brilliant. I've always had long hair except once. Remember the Dorothy Hammil do? At 11 I went from knee length hair to a Dorothy. I still remember waking up the next morning and crying my eyes out over it. Since then the shortest I've had it has been middle of my back. A wig makes perfect sense to see how I would like shorter hair. Although I love being able to just pull it into a braid, bun or clip on those rough mornings after I pull an all nighter studying. If I remember correctly short hair pretty much has to be done just so every day. Don't worry, you'll figure out what's missing soon.

To be honest, when you had longer hair, I never noticed how awesome your smile was! You have a perfect "pixie" face for short hair.....keep it!

(Now I look matronly with short hair....have to keep mine long!)
