This happens quite a lot, it has even happened on yours Diane, I think it may be to do with something being changed or updated on the profile.

To the OP, I think I've answered this question at some point before, but there are certain reasons that I will take the time to check out someone's profile.
 
1.  They have emailed Me and I want to see what their profile includes.
 
2.  They have said something on the boards that have made Me want to look at their profile.
 
3.  A bounce back....  Meaning they looked at Mine, so I looked bad at their's (rare, unless one of the other two are already there).
 
4.  (think I've added this one since the last time)  I liked their face/hair/smile/eyes on their pic.
 
 
Basic point being, if you want people to notice you.... You have to do something to BE noticed.
 
Btw, that thing about leaving yourself logged on so you're in the 'top spot' when signing on was very clever.

this may also be because there are simply WAY more men than women on this site, and then WAY more submissive women than dominant women (from what i can tell by looking at the number of results that come up for different searches).

i have no doubt that you will find someone special if you keep looking, though.

Status: offline 		I personally love to read profiles and look at pictures.  Sometimes when I have 5 minutes to myself I browse photos here and when I see one I like...I enlarge it, if I still like it I go to the profile and see what kind of person caught my attention...doesn't matter if they are Dom or sub, male or female...makes NO difference.  Voyerism is HOT!

Status: offline 		Sometimes I will view someone’s profile if they posted something interesting on boards. The only profiles I check out of the blue to see if we share common interests etc are local Dommes and those are the only ones I usually send a message too.

I think more than half of your views on your profile are just people that saw your post and are being nosy.


Unless someone that’s viewed me actually contacts me or me them I consider it a novelty feature.
I dont bother blocking people unless they are those russian scam artists or something.

I think for a "first pic" it does have to be a face-type pic.  I've got pictures of other stuff up as secondary ones.

Morality clause in my work contract, I have known people to lose their jobs over similar.

If this was a vanilla dating site that would be one thing but BDSM big no no. grrrrrrrr

that would suck....... and i have thought about coworkers seeing it and being freaked or fired over it.  a person from  my work got arrested and the first thing people did was google for his myspace.
I worry way more about coworkers finding my profile then i do other members of this site

hence the no face shot..... I don't want to have that conversation with my MALE boss, given I live in rednecksville, that would be an interesting conversation.

It would most probably be less a concern if I lived in a bigger town where there was more anonymity, but I don't and I can't stand big cities.... oh well
