As a guy who does spend time and effort staying fit and athletic, this is an interesting (and somewhat disappointing) thread. 

Madison Avenue marketing firms spend millions of dollars each year trying to figure out what type of male look is most attractive to female consumers.  Those studies tend to trend towards the "somewhat muscular" body type (with "wiry" usually a close second, and "teddy bear" often behind that).  Likewise, there  never seems to be a lack of women drooling over the Brad Pitts and Tom Cruises of the world.

However, it's also true that women (more so then men) place higher value on non-physical appearance traits when determining attractiveness.  A sense of humor, consideration, intelligence, a good smile, etc., rank high with most women. (According to a recent poll, sharing housework was one of the major reasons certain relationships worked)

I remember some psychology courses from college that touched on issues of man-- woman attraction.  One theory was that traits that demonstrated good provider/ protector skills (strength, speed, health, intelligence, etc.) in men were attractive to women because as humans evolved these were skills that were necessary for survival and procreation.

Query whether women with a dominant personality vary, as a group, from women with a different orientation?  Does an "opposites attract" principal  apply to some extent?  In my personal experience, this doesn't seem to be the case.  People of like body styles generally (with plenty of exceptions, of course) tend to gravitate towards each other.  That may perhaps be accounted for simply because it may be an indicator of a number of other shared interests, which is a significant factor in compatibility.

There are probably  published studies in the scientific literature addressing these issues, and the innumerable variations that spring from them.  Do we have any academics on the board who can enlighten us?

Dog - My close friend is a dom, but becuase of our close friendship and becuase I am quiet small and girlish yet a very confident Dom, he enjoys letting me make him my Puppy. Kitten- A pure sissy boy, one I've yet to find acceptable, but one I hope to have someday, an utterly girlish boy that I can conviningly make into a girl, dress him up and have him dress me up in turn, an utter toy. Lithe, little, and dispite my small size I could probably physicaly overtake him.

Girls:

Curvy: I ADORE big chested girls, not terribly round, I love a little pudge to slap around and pinch and cuddle, I like to think of these girls as my bunnies.

Petite: My other favorite girl type are the ones with little to no curve, small little chest to slap hard and lean little body so I can wrap her up in an assortment of leathers and outfits to suit my tastes, one I can physicaly overtake, and have ride my lap on my strap on, to be my utter little fuck kitten. And one I can cross dress with.


I don't know if all this fits, but these are my favorite tastes, maybe others will see some similarities.

I'm trying to figure out what type of woman would most appreciate me. yeah, i know, maybe it's being selfish. but, you need that chemistry. i'm a switch and have an  androgynous  look (been called "pretty boy") kind of a cross between a pony and kitten based on your description (which is interesting to read) .  5'10"  170lbs.  lean muscle.  i work out but not to build up. just lean muscular dance type body. i used to be alot thinner and about 2 yrs ago i was 160lbs and  i decided to bulk up alittle because i was feminine looking. even kind of have a round little femine butt. and it doesn't grow hair on it either. i have a light amount of hair on my body and chest. i did shave my chest, but decided that i better try to look more masculine. i've had women cashiers accidently call me ma'am. i used to get embarrassed about this, but now i kind of smile. when i was a teenager, i occaisionally had a few guys mistake me for a girl and ask me to dance. i was really embarrassed, but now i look back and see how. i had longer hair then and was thin (135). i would say that bodytype wise, i'm a cross between an ectomorph and mesomorph. more leaning towards and ecto. if i had to pick out a bodytype that i resemble,  i'd say David Bowie. funny, that i can sing a few of his songs pretty darn good too (i really love getting into the role when singing "Rebel Rebel" or "All the young dudes") . i used to sing some at the bar and overheard people saying "he's bisexual".  which, i've never been with a guy, but have fantasized about it. but, don't care to act on it with one. i like women. it's just confusing, because i'm not this bulky macho guy that most women seem to want. for a long time i was attracted to an ectomorph bodied woman. either androgynous or feminine.i think because i related to them.they were kind of like my bud (but they tended to be sub and usually they were with guys that were husky type Doms), but that doesn't always work in a relationship. now, its more about what's in their mind and i like a woman who has a Dominant side or even a secretive masculine side to them.i now look at even a bigger type woman (which i didn't in the past)  with interest (especially if they show an interest in a slender guy) at this point in my life, i'm looking to be accepted and appreciated for who/what i am and not try to be something i'm not. just curious on what type of woman would appreciate a guy like this?

I can very easily spend a couple of hours at the gym a day, 

I see many who do the treadmill, bicycle, ellipitcal for close to an hr or more.
There are also classes that last an hr (boxing, zumba, yoga, pilates, spinning, etc).
Plus the weight room, the machines, sauna, etc...
