What can you do well that you could instruct another "s" about so that they might be more pleasing to their M or D?...

i just began working on a new website and posted a thread about it last night http://www.collarchat.com/m_982446/tm.htm and then with the baseball for dummies thread i started yesterday an idea came to me....

i would like to add some tutorials (or light instruction stuff) for teaching "s" types different things to do for their M or D....

For example minnetar and others have been very helpful for me to try to learn something, anything about baseball and football. i am soooo not athletically inclined LOL.. but knowing about this would make my Daddy happy and give me something that i could discuss and do with him (watching not playing lol)...

There are some sites that discuss setting a table and housework, tea ceremonies etc.... but what about some other things?

So what kind of skill or knowledge do you have that you could write about enough to help another "s" learn about it? What would you like to learn that would make your M or D happy? And M and D what could your "s" learn that would please you?

i can bake and decorate cakes, make appetizers etc., do some graphic art stuff and i know alot about rock music (it's a sickness lol)...(wow this sounds so Breakfast Club LOL...if you get my reference)

i would like to learn more about sports, baseball, golf and football specifically. i would also like to learn how to play poker. Edited to add: i would also like to learn how to sew.

lmao i know most sports except Nascar and soccer. i know numbers as i have an accounting degree and would help in anyway you would like!! Thanks for being so sweet by the way. Based on your personality, you really make someone want to help.

In my situation it wasnt about learning tasks or gaining knowledge in particular areas. It was about becoming willing to open up and expose my inner self...to overcome fears and failings...to learn to express myself clearly, efficiently and appropriately...to learn when NOT to express myself (lol)...to let go of ego and expectations...to put him before myself...and to be willing to push myself for him. Exploring and developing my submission was the main path toward being pleasing. The other skills were secondary to this.

I would LOVE to learn how to knit...only I think I'd need to actually see it, possibly in person. Im very visual that way.

I guess my biggest talent is writing....both journalism and poetry/prose.

Hi,
On the subject of knitting, you might want to look in your area for Stitch and Bitches. They're knitting groups which are also social groups. Most knitters are more then willing to teach you the basics. You can also learn from a book, it just takes practice.

Im kind of slow when it comes to learning crafty things involving my hands, because I've got vision problems and processing problems and such. My Gram taught me how to latch hook but wont teach me how to knit, for that reason.

Im not sure I could pick something like that up from a book.

Cherry i think in order to fix His socks you need to learn how to darn. That is what it is called. my mom can do it and very good at sewing and i am at a loss.

Dang it...they were hand made and appear to be knitted or crocheted (eeks sp LOL)...he won't care if they look great so long as they'll be functional. Even if i can knit or crochet enough to make a patch and insert it lol....they were comfy to him sooo i am going to be on a mission.

my Mom sews and she couldn't think of a fix without the whole knit the booties thing lol

If we lived closer, I'd say let's meet up for coffee and I'd teach you. If you're still in school (never sure when people update profiles

)you might want to look at clubs on campus. But I'm only able to make scarves...

Skills I am qualified in and willing to share with others..that I can think of quickly:

Bootblacking and Leather Care: I am past bootblack titleholder. As part of our leather business I have gained extensive knowledge in leathercare of all types and offer this service to both fetish folks and 'nilla clients. I hold half day hand-on workshops on bootblacking and leathercare as time permits.

Sports: I played soccer and was was a FIFA certified referee.

Wine Service: A degree in hospitality management and career experience in restaurant management. My current knowledge of wines is rusty but service skiils are still intact.

Travel and Preparation: Extensive research and practical experience in traveling with Master.Have written articles on packing and how to take care of Master when traveling.

Sewing/Mending: I am a frugal mother raised by a frugal mother! Why pay someone else to hem pants, repair a split seam or sew on a button? I dislike tailoring but other sewing skills are fairly high.

Crafting: My other nickname is 'Martha BDSM Stewart'. grin

Household/Office Organization: My OCD kicks in big time!

Skill set techniques should be shared, if possible. In the olden days of extended families this was done from one generation to another but as our families become more spread out many skills are not passed on.

greetings charismagirl,

i feel comfortable writing basic html tutorials (i can do more advanced stuff, but am not comfy teaching it). my strongest skill is also writing, so i'd be glad to contribute articles on writing. i know a lot about religion, too, so if you ever need something in that area...although i can't think of a way to make that a tutorial ;) i feel comfortable giving basic piano instruction but again not something easily put into a web article. but i'd be glad to help in any way possible.

I have very few skills...especially in the home arena..my particular skills run toward:
Teaching CPR and first aid,a few tae kwon do moves for defense,the ability to read at a fast rate and pick up those buzz words that come in handy for school.How to decorate..How to memorize and act upon a stage ~wink~ somewhat..How to play poker..How to learn to play pool (badly..lol)..I so envy those who can sew, knit,speak other languages or play an instrument. Those I would love to know...Tempting

I want to learn CPR....and ASL too.

Im not in school currently...Got sick and had to opt out, but I still live in the same area. I figured I'd change my profile when I think of something worthy to say. Trying to decide if I want to be completely open about being collared and whom to.

greetings,

i forgot to add - i can do basic meditation tutorials, if you want :) lovingkindness, insight, calm abiding, tonglen, or whatever. i'm trained in the tibetan buddhist tradition, though, so my view comes particularly from that tradition. also, my specialty in religion is buddhism, although i am a practicing pagan as well as buddhist, so those are the two areas i know the most about religion-wise.

I could probably do something regarding massage and hypnosis.

Jinx is a certified massage therapist, and He's taught me to work on Him...and I have been on both the giving and receiving sides of hypnosis.
