I've been seeing alot of threads lately related to weight issues. I want to let men out there know just how cold and heartless it is for them to turn women down because of their weight. Some of us can't help what our bodies look like. Many have health issues and others like me have permanently disfigured bodies to to pregnancy. It's easy for men to say plenty of women have babies and don't gain weight. Maybe they just got lucky. My body was disfigured because too much amniotic fluid surrounded the baby. It had nothing to do with how much I ate or exercised during the pregnancy. When this happens a woman's skin is horribly stretched. After the pregnancy, it doesn't go away. It stays there and sags. No amount of dieting or exercise will make the sagging skin disappear. There is no way a tummy tuck can be done without leaving a long horrible scar. Men don't have to worry about this happening to them, so it's really easy for them to say there is no excuse for women to be overweight. These are the type of men who cheat on and/or divorce their mates because they only desire women who have perfect bodies. Yet many of these same men would call a woman a murderer if she ever had an abortion. I'm not saying all men are this way. I'm talking to the men who are. Stop putting women down because of their weight.

Well stated defiantbadgirl. I have another take on this, if they pass us by because of our weight then it's their loss and they may very well be letting the ideal (other than size) sub or Dom slip right their fingers. Shame on them!

Well said, and i definitly agree with you. There is one profile on here from a male dom that has a very specific weight max that he wants his female slaves to go by. It is not possible, everyone is different and unique in their own way. Like me for example, i always played baseball with the guys when i was younger and built up a lot of muscle, but since my knee injury i can't seem to get the muscle turn fat off. i'm also lucky as well that my Dom doesn't care what i look like and that he didn't care what his previous sub/slave(s) in training looked like.

I hear what your saying, I don't like being turned down for that reason, (well for any reason really.) However I do got to say, that there have been a few times where I have turned a man down because he was overweight, or for some other base reason. What gets me, is the guys who call women "heffa" and other insulting words. and who can't seem to get it in their thick skulls that every woman is different, like what you were saying DBG. I just try to ignore guys like that, not worth the time it would take to sneeze at them, much less cuss them out.

i used to weigh almost 300 pounds...i do not any more...but i'm still far from my "ideal" wieght that being said....everyone has a right to there own preference. we all know what a fat body looks like( or over wieght if the term fat offends you) and some people are just flat out NOT turned on by that ..... and thats their RIGHT....could they be missing out on some exceptional loving YOU BETCHA!!!! there loss... and they may not even see or admit that it is indeed their loss...all we can do is go with what and who we are ...if thats over wieght then fine(i was miserable when i was fat) ...you just gotta live your life and not worry about others standards ....they are not yours so don't worry about it.....

Why is it cold and heartless? Are they not allowed to decide for themselves what they find attractive and what they don't? They don't have the right to be insulting, but they do have the right to politely say no to someone they aren't attracted to.

I'm a BBW submissive. If a man isn't interested in me becuase of my weight, it's his loss. BUT! it's his right. We all have body types we're attracted to. I have as many men that like my size as don't like it. Just because someone is heavy, doesn't mean they must be accepted by everyone. I have a very specific body type that I'm attracted to in a man. Does that make me cold and heartless?

What gets me is when you get along fine chatting to someone, begin to think , hey what a nice person, they ask for a photo and Bam they no longer wish even to talk to you, does being fat also mean you cannot be simply friends, or just chat to someone, why if you can get along before they know you are fat are they incapable of speech afterwards?

Well said to all the bbw women who have posted so far. Why do some men think it's ok to send nasty messages just because of our weight. Some of us may be subs, but Dom men still need to earn our respect and insulting us is not the way to do it.

it takes all kinds ...some men like bigger women some men like smaller women ...what some men consider just right, women think is horrible... it's best when we find someone that matches who we are

People do not like to be blindsided. Here more than most places honesty and trust are at the forefront of any relationship. No woman will ever be able to say, I am not whoe my profile portends me to be.

This is not true of all, but many women hide the fact of their size hoping that their personality will win over a perspective suitor. Worse yet, they blame pespective suitors of being small minded and shallow for not excepting them for who they are when they were the ones who were obfuscating in the first place.

Speaking as a man who prefers ladies with some meat on their bones, I have to say that I agree with a couple of things, stated here.

However, we canNOT forget that there is thing thing called "preference". People cannot change whom they find attractive. That, also, is not their fault. As one lady mentioned, though, when they come with the horrible insults, that's where the problems arise.

Also, though, there are far too many ladies that think that just because they're fat, that makes them a "BBW". That can be quite a misnomer. Delta Burke was a Big, Beautiful, Woman. Patti LaBelle is a Big, Beautiful, Woman. Anna Nicole Smith was a Big Beautiful Woman. A lady who's 5' 4" and weighs 475 lbs. is not beautiful (usually).

Someone also brought up the laziness factor. That does play into it. I tend to look at the potential a submissive has. I also believe that she should be preparing herself for "the One", until he comes along. If a lady is more than a BBW and it's because she just can't be bothered to do anything about it, that's different than a lady that truly can't do anything about it. Then, the situation isn't so much about the weight but, the character flaw of the apathy being displayed.

Anyway, getting back to the actual issue: I am much more likely to want to "fatten up" a submissive who, in my view is to skinny than to look at a beautiful lady who happens to be carrying a few extra pounds and wish she would lose it.

The weight threads never end on this site. It goes to show how many in this alternative
lifestyle are as obsessed and shallow and narrow minded as the vanilla world.
We are far from accepting of differences in this lifestyle, which shows we are not as great
or special that many here think they are.

Many large people turn down other large people all the time. It's quite possible that it may not be size related (or it may even be as well). Many smaller sized people turn down other smaller sized people too. Different strokes for different folks. Somewhere out there is someone for everyone (I hope).

I have to admit I am insulted by men who even have a preference for skinny women because of the fact that some of us can't do anything about it. If there weren't medical conditions that caused women to be overweight, I could understand. If stretched skin went away with rigorous diet and exercise, I could understand. Look at all the partially bald men out there who want skinny women. They are the lucky ones. If baldness bothers them, all they have to do is go to a hair restoration clinic like Bosley's. Any scars left by the surgery will be covered by their hair. They can still look good nude. Women can't.

i can honestly say that people i have met in the "lifestyle" have been far less judgemental about a few pounds and much more interested in the mind...though perhaps that is because it has been a more honest exchange on this subject ... cause or correlation im not sure
