defiantbadgirl -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 2:33:25 PM)

I would work very hard to get back to a size 7 if my body could be the way it was. I answered a thread started by a fitness expert awhile back and asked him how I could get rid of my stretched skin without having a long ugly scar. He said he contacted someone and promised to get back to me. I never heard from him again.

"I will never look good again anyway. Either stretched skin or any ugly scar will be with me for the rest of my life, so what's the point?"

At some point you have to take a proactive stance.  If you aren't concered for your health and your well being why should anyone else be?  Now this is coming from a girl who is still at this point big and honestly i never want to be skinny.  But i'd rather have a scar to get rid of the excess skin than carry it around.

The "It's OK to be fat" crap is so over. Now we have all these "wide loads" running around, acting like they have a right to attention. "Fat tolerance" was a terrible mistake.

It's turning around in SF, now that the hip-hop baggy clothing thing is over. Skinny pants are in, and fat chicks are out.

Extremely mean spirited and unnecessary

skinny people call me fat... fat people call me skinny. i call me just right for me.

Even if the scar extended clear from one side of your body to the other? I don't see how this would improve my appearance any.

I keep my  athletic Domme-ish figure by beating Ass frequently-

KatyLied -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 2:40:16 PM)

Defiantbadgirl - I don't know what type of scar you have.  I had abdominal surgery last year and I have a huge, horizontal scar across my abdomen.  This was the price I gladly paid to have two masses that were growing removed from my body.  If a dom would object to being with me because I have a surgical scar I can honestly say that he is not someone I would want to share my life with.

i am not sure who gave you this information but i have heard that scar minimization has been a huge focus for plastic surgeons.
getting rid of the extra skin could give you a boost in your self esteem ... this obviously seriously bothers you.
consider it and maybe speak to another doctor.

popeye1250 -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 3:01:28 PM)

I just "prefer" slender or WPTH women.
It's what I grew up with in the 1960's.
I think we might have had 3 overweight girls in my whole high school class of 1.200 in 1969.
You just didn't see many overweight people in those days. Everyone worked or was outside after school running around and doing things.
Plus, it was a "working class" city. I was rail thin. The only time we ever "overate" was on Holidays.
Hey, I can only be with slender or WPTH women? Isn't that some kind of "medical condition or disease?"
How do I collect a check for that?

subfever -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 3:07:39 PM)

WTF is WPTH?

meatcleaver -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 3:10:01 PM)

The idea that people aren't going to reject some people because of their appearance is naive. Weight is one issue amongst many, it might be an important issue for some, for some it might not. If too much weight turns someone off, it is not cruel in and of itself, it is the truth. How that fact is conveyed might be cruel, the cruelty migh only be in the perception and over sensitivity on the part of the person who is fat. There might not be a way of rejecting someone for being fat in a way that doesn't make them feel bad. Excessively overweight women don't float my boat, they sink it, that is a fact. It has nothing to do with being cruel.

KatyLied -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 3:10:25 PM)

weight proportional to height?

Trampler -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 3:18:08 PM)

meatcleaver, what you like, is what you like. however what people are complaining about, is when others are rude. When I turn someone down, I am tactful but firm.

southeasternsub -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 3:18:31 PM)

This whole thing is ridiculous, if someone is judging whether they can be with you merely on looks alone must have self esteem issues of their own. As far as scars go the older you get the more you have. I have a long scar on my stomach from having 2 c-sections. Its our scars that make us who we are and I certainly would never apologize for that.

Yup, that's it.
In my youth I was lucky if I ate twice a day.

Jaded2005 -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 3:33:14 PM)

As stated in this thread, reverse attitude.
"Looking for a man with some meat on his bones"................
At 5'9 150lbs. a 31-32 inch waist and a 40 inch chest. I don't make it as a man with 'meat on his bones'.  In my 20's I used to shop in the 'young men section'....LOL I recently bought a pair of Levi's marked 32 inch waist and they tend to hang on me, can't return them cause I washed them.

The greatest delusion of the working class is that
they believe we live in a democracy.
The greatest fear of the ruling class is that some day
the working class will realize that this is not so.

subfever -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 3:43:41 PM)

Well, my high school years were very similar to popeye's. I graduated two years later, but we were also living in a working class neighborhood, and almost all the girls were skinny. Hell, every girl I ever had sex with was skinny.

So this was the basis of my sexually formative years. It should be no big surprise to anyone here that skinny is still what floats my boat.

But why would anyone give a rat's ass what my personal preferences are, other than perhaps having some emotionally-charged attachments to their excess weight?

In fact isn't this really the reason why these endless fat threads go on, and on, and on...?

velvetears -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 3:53:03 PM)

defiantbadgirl, sometimes in life we  have to compromise to get what we want to be happy.  You can get surgery for the extra skin and yes that will mean you probably will have a scar for life, but scars fade and we get used to them.  It might not be exactly what you want, but isn't it worth a shot to at least talk to a plastic surgeon?  To completely throw in the towel isn't the answer either.  Why deprive yourself of a life because you can't be 100% what you used to be. No one goes throug life unscathed.

i had a c-section and 10 years later you don't even notice the scar.  i also had laproscopic surgery for my gall bladder and a few very small scars from that - would i rather not have them - sure - but i'd rather be alive and healthy and accept them as a part of who i am now.

domiguy -> RE: rant over "fat women" (4/29/2007 4:10:47 PM)

EEEEEWWWW!!!! Scars and fat and jumbly stuff.....EEEEEEWWWWW!!! You gals are disgusting.....I was almost ready to post my own "FAT THREAD"  because they always turn out to be so darn pleasant.....But I turn on the computer gizmo and my eye are rewarded by gazing upon another FATTY POST....Can't we just simply agree that as you gals age you do become rather nasty...Thank God it is not frowned upon to be able to trade in for a newer model....God how I love this Country of ours.
