I do still think the opening post of this thread missed the point that seemed to come from the thread titled "Posts you'd like to see from male subs" and other threads posted here as well.  However, I think it still has served a purpose in that it has created a dialogue between Dommes and subs about what the men here have to offer and more of how the women would like to see it presented.

Well it was serving a purpose until you two hijacked it and flew to Cuba with it

i miss very few points. Got the scars to prove it.

I am sorry, I might have been a bit touchy. My apologies to you and Pixel for taking this thread towards the cigars.

The other day I ordered Pizza. And it was late. And I started to cry. So I think it's PMS.

;-)

Cheers,

Sea

Not in all cases.  It's made Me do a lot of thinking on some important points.  The following rambling might not make any sense to anyone but Me, but I'll post it anyway.

In the past, when I've been looking for a boy, or one showed up at My doorstep, I've never really had a "wish list".  The whole thing started more like spark, then connection, then discussion, then consideration, and so on.  It occurred to Me that I wasn't especially looking for a particular skill, and based My search on that.  Each one was just..... well.....  Mine.

I'm not saying they didn't have special skills, but that's not the point.  The special skills were really more like a bonus.  The fact that they gave themselves to Me in the first place was always more important than anything else they brought with them.  The other skills were just icing on the cake.

I think the hijack was beneficial.  It showed me how two people can see things differently yet still remain tactful and respectful of one another.  Not many people have those traits...I find them charming.

It's nice to see people sharing ideas without throwing mud.  That is a skill that I enjoy seeing in subbies.

Yikes!  I don't wanna go to Cuba!  My Great Grandfather got shot there during the Spanish-American war.  He said it's really hot & humid there.  Plus, I don't even smoke (yuck)!

Why didn't I get to sit in the Navigator's seat??  Sorry, forgot, I'm not a Domme (only they get to give the directions ).   Anyway, I'd much rather go to someplace where it's cool with a view of the mountains and clear blue lakes; not to fail to mention a place where personal freedom exists to participate in BDSM and be a sub to a really great Domme!

Another thing, where's the black hooded ski mask I'm supposed to wear?  Oh wait, I think she's wearing that in the interrogation fantasy that I sometimes have.

Sigh... oh well, at any rate if I were going to hijack your thread, I'd at least break out some nice whips, floggers & paddles, the leather body harness Mistress has me wear, plus lots of bondage gear & all the other sensation toys I can think of to bring along, then take us someplace I really wanted to go!  Actually, that would be a very private place with only Mistress and me.

Sorry for any offense I've caused Dave.  Have a great day!

I am used to threads being hijacked here, I often forget what the OP was.
Back to the OP?
I value any skills that I will enjoy or make my life better.
I would add that willingness to learn, obey and wanting to please are at the
top of my list.
The most important skill that I value is, the real desire to submit and serve ME.

I realized after reading LPact's last post that what I had listed in my first reply are not skills, but qualities - which, in my opinion, are far more important ... like her, we don't look for existing skills, we look for personality and qualities that are compatable with what we want - if they have the qualities that we want (intelligence, willingness to please and learn, etc) then the skills that we would like will follow.

When I was a kid, I once took this photo and my Mom said it was very nice!

Hmmmm Sea, that was indeed a long time ago...  I would imagine your photography skills could use some refinement, wouldn't you agree?

I agree. I am off to go get a new disposable camera!

Actually, I do enjoy photography but have not done any in about two years. Here are some photos I did for a fetish photography exhibit.
