And by the way, let's compare the real story to how it was presented in the first post. The adults are victims? Don't make me laugh!

Martin Hunsinger, 51, is charged with child endangerment for strapping a 7-year-old girl to a wheel, beating her and showing her a sexually explicit video. Hunsinger's girlfriend, Dorina D. Pizio, 47, was charged with witness tampering for allegedly trying to persuade the 7-year-old not to cooperate with police.

OMG!

That is SO freaking WRONG!

AND THEY ONLY GOT PROBATION?????

They should have gotten serious TIME for that!

I am sickened and just wrenched at what kinds of fucked up shit they HAD been doing to that poor child, gee and she's *already* lashing out at weaker creatures, as shown by pushing the toddler into the pool, and not doing anything about it!

I hope she gets the therapy she needs, but that type of damage can be irreversable.

How horribly horribly sad.

Those sickos should have gotten life IMO, they are a danger to ANY children as far as I am concerned.

I feel just ill at this story.

I feel the child endangerment charges should of stuck and maybe the prostitution charges dropped, but i am not familiar with NJ laws.

As someone with a pool in my yard, I know that it doesn't matter WHO the child belonged to, when they allowed them in their home the assume legal responisibility. As a parent, I beleive an adult that punishes a child of 7 for *allowing* a younger child to get hurt or in trouble is pathetic and someone who doesn't own up to their own mistakes.

As a mother and a woman caring for a 2 year old because his biological parents are druggies, I believe that any parent that leaves their children to *score* should lose all of their children until they learn to be responisible enough to deserve them.

As a slave, I believe anyone who accepts prostitution charges to avoid the charges they deserve (child endangerment), is most likely doing to because they are the *lesser* punished. To me that shows a major lack of honor and integrity and is a prime sample of why so many think that people in this lifestyle are sick and perverted in a *bad* way. Because as far as I am concerned, only a REALLY sick person thinks its better to cop out than own up in the death of their OWN grandchild!

Hmm, a certain person has new posts all over the message board. But for some reason skipped this thread. I wonder why?

Hmm, inquiring minds want to know. What did I miss when I got busy? Come on, tell me.

The child that drowned wasn't their grandchild, it was a neighbor, but the 7 yr old that pushed her in the pool was their grandchild. I agree with evrything else you said Sandy. We also have a pool and i am sure we are responsible for what goes on there. When our kids were young, the times we couldn't watch them, like at parties, we hired a lifeguard.

Gloria, just go to the beginning of this thread. The answer will become obvious, with a capital D.

MistressDread, i just want to update you on my search. I have tried to get court records/opinions from both NJ and PA but can't find this case on either website. I have sent emails to all those listed on Collarme as living in Cherry Hill and have gotten 4 responses back and no one seems to know about the patrons except they heard that they were questioned. If i can't find out anything from Cherry Hill residents then i will ask some Philly residents. One person offered to have a private investigator look into it for me, but i declined, i didn't want anyone going to that much trouble. I will keep at it a little longer.

Thanks Estring. I get your drift. I also researched it. Went back through my old mail from NCSF. As well as a couple of other groups I belong to. Most watch the news very closely they dig up stuff nobody has heard of before.

This case was about illegal drug use and child endangerment. I hope they get the 5 years, then also with not so great time served..hey maybe life?

Hey Gloria, did you find anything about the dungeon patrons?

Proudsub,
I read about 8 people were questioned. None to have any impact on the case. So never were considered suspects. It's just the parents who are being charged. I believe the mother's sentencing is coming up soon. It said she could get up to 5 years.

I believe that in the state of California the owners of a pool where a child drowns would be considered criminally negligent and would probably be charged with manslaughter.

On a personal note, I know of somebody who was cutting boxes and slipped with the box cutter and permanently damaged the eye of their 18 month old. I almost went postal when the family rallied around the parent in defense and blamed the toddler for running into harms way.

I feel adults are negligent any time a small child is injured or killed in this way because it is my opinion that dangers should be anticipated by the responsible individuals in the relationship and children (especially toddlers, by definition not responsible) kept safe. All it takes is a bit of due care and concern for keeping the area safe for children.

As parents or even not parents grown folks have a responsibility to protect children wether or not there our children or not. This is a new generation that we will count on in the future. I think it's sick that people treat children this way, and they should be prosecuted to the fullest.

GoddessMarissa -> RE: o====·.,¸,.-·<ŦHΞ LΞGÂL BΞÂGÂLo====·.,¸,.-·<sniffing out legal news of BDSM interest (6/4/2004 12:40:51 AM)

If a child has died do to the parents negligence is because the parents didn't do there job as a parent.I dont understand how someone could decide to have children and not take on the responsibilities. That is a parents job, to protect and raise there children, they are the future. It really hurts me to hear stuff like this.

I sent notes to 20 Collarme members in the Philly area, got replies back from 17 of them so far. Most had never heard of the case, which i find very surprising. A few said thay had heard of it but didn't know if the patrons were charged. One was very helpful and gave me a name that i will search later, and one gave the following response:

Hello proudsub,

Yes, they were prosecuted. They did get a significat jail time.

I am happy to hear that they got significant jail time. I hope that is true.
It couldn't have happened to a better group of people.

Well, this is one of my major concerns here. I'm only referring to one.

These people are not lifestyle. They are abusers like a lot of abusers hiding behind the shield of the lifestyle.

How many of us would play while high under PCP? Even the pro's out there...how many would have that little of ethics to put their clients into so much danger?

If I read correctly these people were running a for profit dungeon out of their home while high on pcp.
So, I only wonder how many adults have been seriously hurt who didn't come forward because of the kink.

I know for a fact if we work with our police department you don't get hassled all that much. I know everytime my group has a party. I invite the cops. Never had issue yet.

I realize I am getting off topic now....but just had to say something.

hehe.
