Also, the Reichstag fire was a campfire compared to WTC '93, 9/11, or the U.S.S. Cole.  Bad comparison but that is nothing new for you.

That you do not believe that we face the spector of a nuclear detonation in this country reveals enormous ignorance and is against the opinion of a great many sources that are much better informed than you.  Simply google "possibility nuclear detonation America" and count the hits that come back.  Better still, you might think about reading a few.

Concerning the carnivore system, your response is feckless.  Yes, you have a right to communicate with anyone you want and the monitoring of those communications requires a warrant.  What has changed?  Why haven't you responded to what right YOU have personally lost under Bush?  You haven't responded to it because you haven't lost any of your rights.  Ho Hum, responding to you is such a drag.  The more important picture is the advent of a system that can monitor billions of e mails and that system was approved by Clinton.  Now why would such a champion of freedom such as Slick Willy approve such a system to even be implemented?

Why haven't you addressed people comparing the U.S. to Nazi Germany?  Is it because you are one of the people nefarious people who wish it to be?

Status: offline 		Actually, Germany specifically West Germany (When the country was divided) did face Terrorist.  This group during the 60s and 70s was known "Badder-Meinoff Gang". This group was responsible for acts as kidnapping, murder and bombing.  One of their most deadlist was a bombing of the US Army Headquarters in Heidelberg.  They also had to deal with the PLO, who attacked the Olympics Games in Munich.  It was after this attack that the German Government created the GSG9.  The GSG9 were branch of the Border Police and was given the task to deal with any Terrorist threat where ever it was.  The GSG9 most successful operations known was in Africa where a Lufthansa Jet was hijacked too and the killing of one of the leaders of the Badder-Meinoff Gang in Denmark. 
 
After Unification it was confirmed what many suspected the Badder-Meinoff Gang was under the control of the East Germany Intelligence Agency.  The East Germany Intelligence Agency was suspected of many attacks and in some cases made the Russian KGB look tame.  There was an attempt by the East Germany Intelligence to sumggle a tactical nuke to the Badder-Meinoff Gang.

Did I not just LIST over 1000 NUCLEAR WARHEADS AIMED AT US BY China and Russia, and another FIFTY which could be smuggled in?

It's just that, compared to growing up with the spectre of 30 minute MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION OF THE ENTIRE PLANET, the prospect of a single itty bitty nuke just doesn't seem all that much of an issue.

You know, Hilter's book, "Mien Compf" or something like that.. (no, I'm not taking the time to look it up, lol).  In English, it translates to "My Problem".  If Bush said he was going to publish "My Problem", it'd give conspiracy theorists something to actually work with.

He added that the Germans faced a fight for their supremacy from the Jewish-Bolshevik-international financiers of capital.

I suppose you could argue that the neo-conservatives believe they are leaders of the world, and that they believe they face a battle for the survival of their culture and values from the Muslim-anti-capitalist-international financiers of terror.

It's fairly certain someone will come in and talk about the holocaust, but, at their core, both Hitler and the neo-conservatives believe they need to subjugate other nations in order to preserve the perceived interests and cultural superiority of Germans/Americans.

Hitler's views were a product of the West. He manipulated the ideas of several eminent philosophers/scientists/ industrialists etc and crow-barred them together into one philosophy - Darwin/Nietzsche/Bismarck/Wagner/Carlyle - even Henry Ford. You can't divorce Hitler from Western development, and so it's not inconceivable that others like him can and do exist (including in today's world).

I checked my text book and it does say "My Problem".. I suppose it's one of those words that doesn't translate exactly.

LOL, I've always thought that too seeing as the Nazis WERE the "Democratic Socialist Party."
I used to fuck with the lefties by saying that Timothy Mc Veigh was a lefty too seeing that he was an anarchist and "against government!"

I suppose you could argue the above if you define universal healthcare as akin to embarking on a campaign of involuntary euthanisia and extermination camps, and if you ignore the fact they went stomping 'round various parts of the world with dive bombers, tanks, guns etc, and you ignore the fact they actually shot dead political opponents in the streets.

Hitler was also a Catholic and the Catholic faith was steadfast against Marxism and Marxism was against nationalism and nationaloism is incompatable with socialism. Just because 'national socialism' has the word socialism in it, doesn't mean it is the same as socialism. You are making the assumption Hitler was an intellectual and something of a political philosopher but he cobbled together any shred of thought to justify the confusion in his mind and you appear to be doing the same thing.

The United States has approximately 2600 nuclear weapons pointed at various places on the planet following the Cold War.

Russia and it's former states have approximately 2700 nuclear weapons pointed primarily at the United States.

China has approximately 500-1000 nuclear weapons pointed primarily straight up on their border to destroy a Russian tank invasion.

I dont remember, off the top of my head, how many Isreal, France, Britain, etc., have, but the number is not large.

About 1000 of these (combined from those who have them) are operational at this point because the life span of a nuclear weapon is fairly short.
