But... don't you have any self-respect? How can an American male resort to such tactics? I thought you guys were so much above that sort of contingency... Could it be that Bush drove you to those desperate extremes?

Or are you just a bumhead rofl?

Kittin, oh no, I'm not "desperate" I already get a very comfortable pension from the Veteran's Administration, I just want to travel and "broaden my horizons!"
I'll have plenty of self respect after I cash a bunch of those E.U. checks and I'm tooling through the Italian Alps in my brandnew Alpha Romeo!
I think I could get to like socialism!

Good luck, popeye... I fear Europe isn't what it used to be. Now they're terribly aware of 'foreigners' coming over and taking advantage (cough, cough). See... with an american passport, you're going to be asked a lot of questions.

I hope you speak (the numerous) linguos so that you may converse happily with the curious immigration officials.

10% of the French population is muslim. 55% of those immigrants do not have a job at all! They are living off the state. And the non-immigrant French population has a declining birthrate. It's simple mathematics. France has a problem. A serious one.

Is this true, do you know of a place to verify this. Because if that is true, well, that is blatant leeching, and can't imagine how it could not be purposeful leeching. 55% that's insane.

Hell, if I was French, I'd be rioting to get them off the dole/welfare/whatever the hell you want to call it.

The threat comes directly from the opponent. A "warning" was given to the voters of France.
quote:

PARIS (Reuters) - France risks violence and brutality if right-winger Nicolas Sarkozy wins Sunday's presidential election, his Socialist opponent Segolene Royal said on Friday.
On the last day of official campaigning, opinion polls showed Sarkozy enjoyed a commanding lead over Royal, who accused the former interior minister of lying and polarizing France.
"Choosing Nicolas Sarkozy would be a dangerous choice," Royal told RTL radio. Source: http://today.reuters.com/misc/PrinterFriendlyPopup.aspx?type=worldNews&storyID=2007-05-04T213257Z_01_L03669420_RTRUKOC_0_US-FRANCE-ELECTION.xml

What a great campaign strategy along with all the others here soliciting the death of the conservative candidate. Very enlightening of the side of "peace".

Offensive picture, Mercnbeth. Sorry, I think so. Either let us all see the boobs, or take the head cover off: makes you look like a shiite.

Are you retarded, I asked for a source for the number as it seemed very high to me. That would be a request for information.

If that's your idea of a request for information I wouldn't like to know what your opinions are like.

What kind of a cretin are you?

Now, go back to your reading.

Yeah, it's a request to verifty the 55% is true, and if it is how in the hell can 55% of a particular population not work. I tried looking up the general stats on france, and the general population unemployment varies overall from site to site, but states it's about 10%. So, a five fold increase, that's insane.

So, is it all racism that is causing the unemployment in your view,, I'd guess. So, most of France is so racist it won't hire foreigners. That is even worse than saying that foreigners come to leech.

I'll go back to reading, and you can continue to stuff that corn cob up your ass.

In my time in France, I found that the common people were anything but the elitist snobs that pass for her ruling and acedemic classes. The everyday Frankish people are as tired of watching their culture be corrupted by outsiders as any "Red Stater" is here in the US and it looks like they have had enough.

Good for them!

Vive La France!

Throw down that Vichey water and welcome back to the fight Louis. This has the beginings to a RETURN of a Beautiful friendship!

Such reading comprehension!
It says "55% ***OF*** the immigrants."
If there were 100 immigrants that would be 55 of them.

If there were 100 people on an Island and 55 did nothing and expected the other 45 to feed, clothe, house and entertain them while they did nothing but pray to Allah and badmouth those 45 as being infidels and decadent.... well then, I am pretty sure there would be a problem. And I just bet the 45 would look to find a leader that would shape up or cut out the slackers.

FatDom, I'm not saying that that's not a high number, it is!
If 55% of immigrants in this country were on welfare that would be extraordinarily high.
If an immigrant is still on welfare after 5 years we need to be deporting them.

I love our debates on immigration popeye, because they have always been respectful, even though it's clear that we just couldn't be further apart.

I favor considerably easier methods for workers ... workers mind you ... to enter this country to build a new life. Also, I think some States need these workers.

But ... you say five years on Welfare and you would deport them ... hell, in my view, if they spent five minutes on Welfare they would be on the first bus to the border.
