I really enjoy some of the creative names people here come up with for themselves (and sometimes for their partners, apparently). My question-- do you, like me, simply use the name here for CM purposes, or is it more of a "scene name" that you use in all/ most/ many aspects of your D/s life? Regards, ATP

I can't take credit for Mine. The name I have here was one that was given to Me by others. That being the case, it is the one I use in general.

This name I use in many places. And, unfortunately if it is derogatory for some, I started using it before having one's 'place' in one's name was passe. Jeff

I really hate the fact that once you sign up for an account on collarme that you cannot change your name. The day I came on and signed up was due to a recommendation from a sub I know. I didn't even think about what name I would use so when it asked for a name, my mind went totally blank. My dog was lying beside me and her name is Halley. Wow no points for orginality. I have always used my own name when I have RT contact. This is the first online site I have ever used. I really do hate that I didn't put more thought into the name I was going to use.

The Princess bit was a nickname given to me by a good Dominant friend of mine. The Ellie, of course, is my name.

My original/other CM name EmeraldSlave2 is what I used on AOL for years (still do but I hardly ever go on AOL anymore), and Emerald is a part of pretty much every other name I use anywhere else online. LuckyAlbatross I use solely for here. Offline I go by Liz- everywhere.

Obedience as a submissive has always been my desire. I do enjoy obeying. So when I got my mind off the exdom, I choose a name with that word in it. But I have come full circle and am shyinini again. The name I started with on CM. It was changed when owned. I met my present Sir on another website under my name so changed it today. Everyone who I know and knows me as a submissive and as a nilla woman, for the past 17 yrs, all know me as shyinini....in fact, they call me shy. It's a Shonglish word meaning "shy me" ~ loosely translated. I know Sir will not call me shy.......[:)]

Sometimes I wish, when I see what I consider a really good original name, that I had come up with something different,,however..after being on here for quite some time..I have adjusted to Tempting..and so hence Tempting I will stay..:0)...Tempting..[;)]

as far back as i can remember i have used some form of stazia online, the name comes from a shortened version of my middle name Anastazia. heh it was even part of my email adress almost fifteen years ago when usa.net was around and the major competitor to hotmail for free email...

Mine is a combination of things ... As a youngster living in France, there was a field not far from our house that gypies would use to set up camp. I was always fascinated by them, the music, the noise, all the kids running around. Plus, gypsies move about from place to place, and that was my life for most of my childhood, so it worked on several different levels. As for the firefly, a friend once asked, if I had to choose, would I be a butterfly or a firefly? To me, a butterfly is ethereal, soft, beautiful, fragile - none of which I saw myself as. The firefly part just sort of fit and stuck. I tend to be shy, even reserved at times, so if/when I let my light shine just depends on who and the circumstances, when it happens. I began using Elorin as a handle for chatting 10 years ago, and have used it consistently since then. It is my username on most websites, part of my e-mail address, as well as my scene name. I have no problems with people in the scene knowing my name but my local community has so many with the same name that using Elorin is easier. I use Elorin so much that my mother actually addresses me by Elorin at times. ~Elorin

The name I use (for chat purposes, etc.) is, actually "satyriasis" but, most people can't pronounce it. Besides, I have always maintained that "chat nicknames" are not really who we are. They're "ways to hide our true identity from on-line predators" so, I don't keep my real name much of a secret. Peace and comfort, Domly Dom X LOL!!!!!!!!!

I have another profile. One from before i met and became collared as a submissive. The 'calibre' of responses and approaches was adequate for what i sought at that time. But not something i want clogging up my mail box now, so i made a joint profile with Sir, my name that he gave me was littleone. he is called Sir. So it is my name in a way.
