Status: offline 		Does this ever happen to anyone? The majority of the time I get messages on collar me they are from Dommes demanding to web cam with me. Usually I just string them along when this is the case as they have empty profiles and refuse to say anything other then "Cam me boi"

I'm guessing its just some horny old man pretending to be a FemDom. Was curious if its common for others

Status: offline 		It's happened to me too. I just reply with a message that amounts to, "Who the hell do you think you are?". I do it in such a way that if they *are* real they can address the problems. Like...filling out a profile and earning respect before submission is given.

So far none of them have even replied heh.

Status: offline 		Did you know that there is this absolutly WONDERFUL word within in the english language that we use quite often that could come in handy for situations such like this. It's not a hard word to say; nor does it intone anything other than exactly what it means.

The word is NO.

Simple and to the point.

Amazing, isn't it?

Status: offline 		Haven't gotten the demand for cam out of the gate before but I have gotten the kneel bitch, slut, etc. I usually reply "When the fuck did you become my Dominant?  I figure if they are so disrespectful to make demands of me with the first email, they don't deserve my respect in return.  Easiest way to deal with that is put them on block and move on

Just kidding. Sort of.
I sometimes get in the mood for some random "objectify a hot manboy on cam" action, but instead of messaging the masses and hoping for chemistry, I go over to a pay site and pay the nasty gay cam boys for my smut.  I never thought any guy I'd pick would believe me either; I wouldn't believe me! And if there's no connection beforehand, I don't blame the guy for saying no.

Status: offline 		Not My forum, but I thought I would add My own two cents.  I am a great advocate of cam.  Before anyone gets bent out of shape, I'll repeat what I've said on other posts about the subject.  I'm not talking about anything x-rated.  I'm talking about a g-rated face shot, so that I can see the person on the other side.  Good way to verify that they look like the picture they post, really are the age, gender, etc. that they say they are.  Also, I'd like to point out that it isn't a command.  It is generally a request.  Most people can understand why it is asked, since so many on the net aren't exactly completely honest about their appearance.  I personally have no problem proving who I say I am, so I don't see why it is an issue.

When i refused, she replied telling me that since i didn't want to cam for her, she would gladly let everyone else here know that i was really a man pretending to be a female.

**rolls eyes**

i check out her profile, and she's going on about demanding tributes from random subs to make them prove they are real "or else", how wonderful she is and any sub WORTH her time will respond to her with information and a tribute of shoes immediately before she will decide whether to speak to them at all past the first "hello".

When i pointed out that was not the right way to handle my rejection, she just repeated her intentions to slander me publicly. After that i just played gamed with her of how many times she would respond with 'ok dude' and eventually Master jumped in as well.

They're annoying, but silly vain Doms are easily taken care of with a quick block if you're not in the mood to play with them.

Status: offline 		Wow, I would never think to ask a possible submissive man or woman to do a cam appearance for me.  As a femmedomme, I've found the opposite true, I have often been approached by male submissives desiring to put themselves (usually their genitals) on a cam for me.  Cam interactions for me are like any other - best reserved for two people that have some kind of connection or relationship, where both want to enjoy the cam experience.

Status: offline 		If I had a dime for every random sub who has offered to cam for me I'd be rich.  I suspect from that side it's all about HNG's.  From the doms asking random subs to cam I bet a lot of it has something to do with monetary gain.

Usually if this happens and I respond its because I'm not really doing much with myself so don't have a problem wasting someones time who is obviously looking to waste other peoples time.

If someone is genuine or at least appears genuine its all fine.

Status: offline 		Actually, I didn't realize so many were opposed to cam until reading this thread.  I am still a bit confused to the opposition to a g-rated face shot.  After all, once people have made a decent on-line connection, doesn't it make sense to want to know what they look like?  It can be a time saver in seeing if the physical attraction is there prior to setting up a meeting for coffe or a drink.  Requests for cam or more of a convenience, since both parties are already on the computer.  Not like having to make a time investment (however minimal) to meet someone who you're not attracted to in a physical sense.
 
My profile doesn't have a lot on it, but if that is a consideration factor, it's easily understandable.  Of course, I would wonder why a person was 'wasting time' talking with Me before the cam idea would come up.

Status: offline 		Unfortunately, there are many devious people online. I can understand anyone wanting to see that you are teh person you say you are. I have come across some who want me to perform on cam (yet they say do not have one), I block them straight away.I would suggest they are possibly gay men trying to get some kink, but to be honest who knows, it could even be some kid getting a thrill. I think they are all easy to spot though and genuine people are easy to see.

Status: offline 		I guess a little clarification is in order. I'm not opposed to cam at all, in fact I cam regularly with my VT domme. If someone were to message me, had a profile, introduced themselves and asked if I have a cam...no problem. But when I get this...

"Do u have webcame slav?" (actual quote from my the first message I ever received here)

From a person with no profile no less. That doesn't fly with me, and if they actually ARE real then they have a lot to learn about social interaction.

Status: offline 		I think the issue is not a real opposition to cam but that they demand cam before even a cursory conversation.  As in the first time you ever hear froma paerson it's "get on cam, now, slave" or something to that effect.  That's what I got from the OP. I don't think people who have been talking for awhile and it's leading to a r/t meet would be nearly as opposed to cam.
