I actually would like it better if Mrs. Patrelli didn't have powers and remained a great manipulator. Did they say she did? I kinda spaced during that dialogue scene.

She has said she was part of the group with Linderman and her husband that all had powers and tried to change the world before.

But so was Nakamura and apperantly the dude Bennet shot in the head (can't remember his name). I don't think they all necessarily had powers. Nakamura didn't at least. Did they explicitly state she was super-powered?

My impression was that the "Group" were people with powers, but the Company guys were their goons with no powers. So Mother Petrelli probably has something going on. Since Peter's power is to copy other people's powers, I knew that he had to get that weird dreaming thing from somebody. I originally suspected that would have been his mother's power, but it turned out it was Simone's Father.

I think you will find that he is "OLDER" then we all think. And the story is actually of him.

And the whole scene with Simones father did help explain the dream Peter had of when he died. It was the first taste of him learning others powers, besides his brothers.

As for Mother Petrelli that woman has a few venom aces up her sleve and it will just keep us guessing.

But is no one else intersted in what Molly said about the other person she does not like to "search" for?

That was not a weird dream thing or a vision. That was actually Peter there in real time. It might be through use of Hiro's power or maybe it was Shaft's don't know yet.

Oh it's interesting alright, but seeing as there's no hints as to who it is (that I can see), I don't really know what say about it. Maybe he's the one that grabbed Sylar's body?

And now that you mention it Ms. Bastet...Yeah, I suppose it could be that Nakamura is in fact Kensei. I'm just not sure how down I am with the idea.

No matter. This writing team has gotten a full ride on collateral from me. I'm willing to trust them to take this story even further and make it even better.

Yes, I'm very intrigued and hoping its just not something that's going to die a quick death with other story lines that seemed to have only been a tease to not ever go anywhere.

Even though, I'm not thrilled about last night's episode, for the most part I am happy that things ended as they did.  I mean I wanted Sylar dead at Hiro's hands and that was served up.  I just felt much of the dialoge was a bit too gosh darn sweet.  What's love got to do with it anyway.  Sorry that was just so Saturday morning cartoon viewing for my taste.  What I really think happened is the writers were rushed and had to throw that ending together in time for the close of season.  They really needed a two hour season finally, with lots of butt kicking action sequences.  That's just my opinion..

There are always so many ideas introduced, and not enough time to build on these bits and pieces of information they through in every week and in such short time periods.   And so now I'm left feeling like a gal with a guy who starts out strong but then shoots too soon, leaving me ready for the kill.  Sorry, I sometimes just can't help meself.

I hope it was someone else that grabbed Sylar's body rather than him crawling away himself. Sylar seems to have a few abilities we didn't see him get if he survived that. There was an episode where his voice seemed to change when he tossed someone back-I was wondering what that was about aside from just being dramatic.

Where did this idea that Sulu is ancient, like from Feudal Japan, come from? I watched the ending on NBC.com and on my small screen, I couldn't see who the lone masked Samurai was. I'm still thinking that Kensei will turn out to be Hiro. The lone samurai is probably the "Dragon"-which may still turn out to be Sulu if others are right.

Isn't it just a standard move to decapitate someone with a Samurai sword with all that training Sulu taught to Hiro(all 5 minutes of it)? After you stab them and they keel over a bit-chop-"There can be only one!"

Samurai used to take heads as trophies to prove their kill. Then some smart lazy guy figured out that you could cut some dead guy's head off and claim a kill, so they had elaborate head viewings where you sat with the severed head(I guess to mess with you if you were a cheater).

What makes you think it was five minutes?

It could have weeks, hours, days, months .... Hiro can bend time.

That is true, but they usually show him do it. They just seemed to go in that other room for awhile and when Hiro came out, Ando was gone with a sword, looking for Sylar. I like to think they went some place for a year or two, but they didn't say anything about that or show them do the time thing.

You know when they were doing the whole "Love" conversation I did look over at my bf and ask him if they ran out of Ideas and picked up there Harry Potter Books and decided that the whole Love is a deep and powerful thing would be a good idea!

It took Me a couple of days to catch up.  I'm glad people are still posting.

On the far reach, let's suppose that none of the three that are supposedly dead (both Petrelli brothers and Syler) are gone.  Completely possible.  Peter could have healed himself (don't know how he pulled himself together after exploding, but ok), Nathan could have 'flown away', and Sylar could have went down the drain.  No, Sylar can't regenerate, but he could have been helped by the one who is 'worse' than the boogyman.  Wouldn't it be cool if Sylar actually became someone's prodigy from the 'original' group that was alluded to so many times?

I think there are a lot of things that aren't uncovered yet.  Just random thoughts......

The 'Company' always worked with one person without powers and one person 'with' abilities.  For a quote "That's how we do things here".  There are definitely more people with abilities to be discovered.  There are plenty of present day "Hereos" not yet revealed.

So far in the story lines, it seems that everyone who has a purpose in the story believe what they are doing is for the greater good.  So, who is really good, and who is really evil?

I'm still going with Kensei being Hiro's father in some way.  Hiro bends time and space.  Couldn't his father's power be something similar?

I am still going on my bf's thought that well his (Hero's) father could be some samuri immortal person! But we never know.

And really we dont know, it is possable that Nathan threw Peter and flew off.   And who says that Peter has to expolde himself?  Ted (or the original power guy) Never exploded when he radiated and burned things and such.

There is this thing in comics where the offspring of Mutants or superhumans just have "powers"-they aren't in anyway connected to the parents powers. So if the Invisible woman and Mr.Fantastic have a kid, he isn't a stretchy guy that turns invisible, he is a kid that warps reality. X-men kids are usually the same way, except Nate Grey(Cable) having psionic powers like his mother.

The exception is powers based on being an Alien where all the aliens have the same type of power, like Kryptonians or Martians.

Nathan may not have needed to fly away....

So far, Peter has shown that he can transfer his power to who ever he touches. Hiro and DL can do this as well. As long as he was holding Peter, Nathan could have been safe.

Hey, wait... Since Peter can absorb powers non-destructively, how come he didn't ALREADY have Nathan's power to fly??????

He has? I never noticed Peter transferring his power. When did this occur?

I asked the same question earlier on here. The answer seems to be that he was overloaded trying to control his nuclear thing. He says something like he can't do anything.
