i read the Op and (some) of the thread because i expected to hear about rude or inconsistent subs One had met in real life. Why don't Doms realise that whining is not attractive, esp in a Domly type. i always say "no ty" to a Dom who has whined about no replies from subbies in His profile or journal. Not brcause i think He's wrong, but because it's whiney and useless to boot.

You know this is the kind of "Master" that gives the scene a bad name. I have meet too many guys like this jackleg and they all operate the same way. They mistakenly grabbed a copy of "Exit to Eden" when their mommy sent them to blockbuster to get "East of Eden" and lo and behold a whole new world was opened to them. Here was a bunch of girls who couldn't say NO.
Just by attaching a label to himself he has the power to order girls to worship him. And then he went down to the local porn store and found his new sexual bible TABOO magazine.Cause everything you see in there is reality. SO they declare themselves master and jump into the scene. They don't bother talking to anyone or reading any of the books like "Screw the Roses" or "Come Hither" after all how hard can hitting someone be?
They leave a trail of carnage in their wake. My friend "A" who has permanent nerve damage from a "master" that left her tied up with her knees bent and didn't check on her on a regular basis. Or my friend "M" who cowers behind me whenever she catches sight of the "Master" that forbade her the right to use a safeword as she "had not been in service long enough to earn a safeword" and then proceded to beat her so badly she spent the next three days in bed.

And then when they run across people who have seen their type before and don't instantly give the respect they feel that as a master they deserve they get all bent out of shape. I had one of these "masters" try taking my girlfriends leash out of my hand so he could use her. His excuse "I'm a master I can use submissives as I see fit." I explained to him the error of his ways in a verbal and physical way.

So master c don't come on here whining that you aren't getting the respect you believe you deserve. Cause your real name should be scenester C, not master.

To the OP:
I have never had someone not respond to an email. I also take the time to write a well thought out email and select people who I find interesting from their posts. Many of them have answered questions, or brought a new perspective to an idea. I personally wouldn't email someone who was new because they wouldn't have much to offer Me in the way of growth. I look for people who can help Me grow. Just My opinion.

Just because someone can spell 'master' doesn't make someone one. It just makes them someone who can spell the word, or at least copy it.

Uhm....Maybe it's is a wiser course to not let yourself get bothered by unanswered emails you've sent? True, nobody can read minds and neither can a new member is able to read your's when you've emailed her shortly after she joined. Possibily she is not ready, for her own reasons, to feel safe and secure within herself to begin replying to every dom who emails her.

From what I've seen, many doms and masters are quite inconsistant themselves in one way or another. So in my eyes, this works both ways. We are not perfect and neither are masters. This is one of the reasons why many slaves are very hesitant to allow themselves to be "claimed" by a master. No wonder there are slaves who end up escaping from their masters and slipping off their collars (myself included).

With anything else, it takes time and many revisions before one's profile is polished. At least she has a bare bones profile and quite possibily she'll return at a later date to add more and revamp what she wants and is looking for.
