he was every bit as evil as Saddam was,

Got a link to something about the mass graves on the campus of Liberty (HA!) University?  Is everyone you disagree with just automatically evil?

You see, all world leaders have blood on their hands, but an extremist like Falwell, he is evil in a  special sort of way.. right up there with bin Laden, just create enough hate and people will do the violence for you, like kill gay people for example, or bash "liberals" for another. He backed things like fighting holy wars too

But no mass graves huh?  Thinking and saying things people don't like is just as bad as slaughtering villages....

   Good night.

Interesting logic.  Since I have argued in support of President Bush, does that make me just as bad as Saddam too???  Just askin'.

All I have to say is if the standard for celebrating someones death is that they disagree on an important issue with you. Then I guess I'll be celebrating all of your deaths, and most people I'm aware of.

Are you a Liberal? Then I will be celebrating(if that was my standard).
Are you a Socialist,Communist?
Are you a Criminal?
Are you a Banker?
Are you one of those ambulance chasing lawyers?
Are you a Globalist?
Do you support the UN?
Are you for gun control?
Do you support the rights of illegal immigrants?
I could go on and on, about the beliefs people hold that I find very distasteful to my own world view.

Even when I think what another wants would create a absolute hell on earth, I still don't celebrate their death. BECAUSE WE LIVE IN A COUNTRY THAT REQUIRES PASSING OF LAWS, TO TURN AN INDIVIDUALS BELIEF INTO SOMETHING MORE THAN IDLE RHETORIC, in regards to the national scale.

But, to my knowledge ole Jerry didn't say he wanted people to die. He from what I've seen said peoples behaviour was bringing the wrath of god upon us.

I don't think he was right, but I don't agree with most people about everything I think is important either. Generally, I find some things I find important that I agree with and other views I won't agree.

I don't think he was the enemy, I think he had a different view of the world, and tried to get that view enforced on others. Same as most people with views on things. Fortunately since he hasn't won, last time I looked, most people don't agree with his views. AHHHHH, look at that, what's that called, when the people get to hear a lot of different views and decide who is full of shit or not? It slips my mind.

Anyway, whatever works for those that are happy about it. I can't imagine it is healthy though.

Now, I'll be the first to celebrate the death of a "real" attacker. One that skipped the process and never gave the people a decision about it. Like a rapist, murder, ect... But hating someone because they think different, is just bizarre in my view.

If I used that standard I'd hate everyone, except my sheeple followers. But unfortunately, I do hate sheeple. LOL. I like people with ideas though.

Go figure.

If you had the power to convince 100s of thousands to vote for Bush because "God" desired a Holy War, then yes, you would be evil too... btw, did you hold salvation over the head of a bunch of true believers to get them to vote Bush?

There you go. Spouting off about what you don't know. Christianity is the celebration of someone's victory over death.

Mother Theresa?

They were on the point of dying and if then a soothing voice promises to remove their pain and ask them to baptize, what would they do? It was complete cheating! If you really want to convert people, try it when they are in their full sense. User:Kazimostak

It's so much more profitable for H.Q. Rome to just baptize them, and then let them die, then to give them a dose of keflex.

I was replying in general, not to you specifically. And thank you, i have every faith in facing whatever higher power there may be with my head held high..   I also said that i'm sure there were people who would mourn him, i do not deny them that right or have disregard for what they feel.  If they find reason to celebrate his life, then  good for them.

You seem to enjoy taking others to task for stating opinions that differ from your own.  I promise, i neither need nor desire you attempting to be my moral compass.

roflmao i love folks who are hateful as hell who can live with themselves.  More power to you as i cannot.

spankmepink isn't hateful, she's a friend, as are you. No fighting!

wait...So christianity doesn't revolve around the death of Christ?  Damn sunday school had it all wrong then.  Someone should tell them...I elect Level since he seems to know it all.

No.  Christianity revolves around the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  If one does not accept, with faith, the resurrection and what that represents, then they don't have the complete message. I am sure your Sunday School had it right, but you didn't quite absorb the whole thing.  It is easy to do when young 'uns are sent to Sunday School for a few years, and there is no real follow through or reinforcement of the basic tenets at home.
And I do not mean that in a mean or sarcastic way.
I am personally of a mind that Mr. Falwell did not have the complete message himself, since that messag would not, in My opinion, tolerate such accusations as the man made.  However, only he knows where he stand now, and I hope only the best for him and move on with My own life.

Good post, Dusty.

Just sayin what - that Liberals need to create as much hate for Republicans as possible? What else do you expect to achieve by purposely labeling us as mass murderers.
