Yes.

Sometimes the search is tiring, frustrating and emotionally draining. Sometimes the search is fun, exciting and thrilling.

But if you give up the search you will never find what you are looking for. I have to keep reminding Myself of that CONSTANTLY.

Hang in there! And know that you are not the only one with those situations and feelings.

For those that are looking for a relationship that encompasses more than just bdsm (ie. a lifemate), the self-identified bdsm community is an absolutely tiny pool to be looking for a partner in. Plus lets be honest, it seems like a lot of unattached people in the community are dealing with a lot of emotional problems and are probably not the best relationship candidates anyway!

So (in my opinion), converting a vanilla is probably the best option for most of us that want bdsm in their lives, but not necessarily a TPE type situation. In fact if I were a Dom, I wouldn't even bother with the bdsm community. There are TONS of potential submissive ladies out there in the vanilla world (in fact I seem to attract them on a regular basis!).
