I met a man who claimed to be a slave and then after some chat, he confessed that all what he said was untrue! I instanlty blocked him! So why there are ppl who pretend to be fake slaves? have u met any of them?

Dear FemMiss,

Many come for many reasons and will say that which will benefit their own
agenda. It is unfortunate, and frankly makes it that much more difficult for
those whom hold genuine submission in their hearts. It causes others to
become suspicious of the intent of all whom come out of honest intention.
It is of course not a singular issue of submissives alone, many come claiming
a Dominant heart, but are driven of a counterfeit persona. Why? i suppose
there are as many reasons as there are dancers at the masquerade ball.
You are fortunate that such was discovered in conversation, and i assume
early in Your contact with him. You did what is best, obliterate him from
Your presence, he is undeserving of You. Alas, it will most likely be just
one of many, each occasion strengthening Your ability to expose such
without too much of a waste of Your time. Though just for fun, lure one
to the dungeon for a "scene of play" (hate those words myself) shackle
him to the post, them whip him to tears, his pleads for mercy a soluble
satisfaction for his error of lies. Good wishes for You, that You should
find a true submissive heart to answer to Your own. One which will
uplift and exalt You, high above earthly pedestals made of mere men.

thanks chia for ur answer.. i was surprised when he told me that... yes, it was good that he told me from the very beginning...... i just dont understand these sick ppl!!!!

the same could be said about Men who parade as being Dominants.
equally, people search for that "X" factor, and when it is not there, they are accused of being fakes and wannabees.
maybe if the chemistry is not there, then it's not there for a reason, maybe they are not your match.

Fakes will do it just for fun, for variety, out of boredom, to try and see how the other side lives, out of curiosity, or to "try on another hat". It isn't that mysterious or sick, even if it upsets other people. Many more of us than will admit it have at some point in our lives lied on a resume, cheated on our taxes, claimed job/college experience we didn't have, or puffed up our incomes in conversation. If we were all "sick" then there wouldn't be enough non-sick people to lock all of the rest of us up.

However, if someone pretends to be fake does that make them 'real'?    This is the internet, not a life-altering event.  i have yet to meet anyone who has never been lied to.  It would be a wonderful world if everyone always told the truth but if that were the case it would put CarFax out of business.

There are many fakes (both sub and Dom/me) online.  Many use the internet to play their fantasies.  I have learned to just take everyone with a grain of salt until they prove themselves to be sincere in whatever they choose to claim.

the question goes both ways.  why are there so many fake Dom/mes on this site? is there a set standard and/or ability tests to help us submissives/slaves in determining how twue really you are?  nope there isn't.

welcome to the net, FemMiss.  you're going to find there are sickos and wackos mixed with the real from time to time. your undaunting task, should you choose it, is to separate them from each other until you've found the right person for you. it shouldn't be much of a shock to you or anyone else who post threads like this.

It is the internet and their are fakes all around. This is just entertainment to some and don't realize real people are on the other size.

For the same reason there are criminals, bad politcians, liars, cheats and fake Dominants---as long as there are humans involved, just because its the lifestyle doesn't mean they get whipped with an honesty stick when they enter.

There are 2 different kinds of "fakes" on this site.  The ones who are looking for a naughty thrill in a fantasy world they are either too afraid or too commited elsewhere to be able toe endulge in real life, so they play it out. They dont tell the truth becaue they dont think (and are probably right) that most would play along if they knew.
The others are more manipulative and get a kick out of the fact that they are toying with someone who thinks it is real, and is being drawn along.
Why are they here? Becasue its a free site where anyone who wishes to join can, and everyone gets their jollies somewhere. We have all run into numerous fakes in our searches for someone real. Just like in the vanlla world not everyone is as they appear.

WE all tend to put our best foot forward,some will tell a white lie to embellish a few things,lie on taxes no for I  have enough trouble from big brother,When I ran my carpentry business and hired a so called trim carpenter I would have him trim out a window or two then you can weed the chaft from the grain.Many lonely people use the web and people to live out their fantasy.Surely after a few conversations one should be  able to tell a fraud from the I hate the word 'real' but will use it here..as always just this ol' masters views...

Why are there fake subs and slaves?

How do you know they are fake? Maybe they are brand new and looking for guidance; that does not in any way make them a fake though. Of course, you can turn the question around and say also "why are there fake Dom's and Masters?"

AHhh, so now they are not fakes? They are just sick people? Interesting.

Either way it goes, as many have said before me...one person's fake is another person's real. I would suggest not worrying about those who don't fit your idea of what is real and instead focus on what you find pleasing.

While I do have a bit of an issue of calling someone who does not subscribe to MY way of doing things as a fake, for this discussion, I have no qualms if you are talking about someone who is just getting their kicks by stringing someone along.

I have run into this a few times, though not as often on CM as I do on yahoo.  I would hazard a guess that the reasons for doing this are they are either under age and trying to get a few kicks or they are so bored with their real lives that they have nothing better to do.  Then you bring in the religious fanatics who I have run across a few times.  They start out all innocent and curious, asking polite questions as if they are new and want to learn.  Then they go on a tirade about how you are evil and going to hell. 

It is silly really.  They are being malicious and have no intention of doing anything for real.  They are not even doing the fantasy role play thing which, though is not my cup of tea, I at least think there is a bit of truth behind what they do.  The reasons for why they do this...I don't know but they can't have that wonderful of a life, filled with things to do and people to see if they have the time to waste on such.  My advice is to have several conversations with a potential submissive and keep your guard up.  Do not give out too much personal information off the bat and try to get to phone and real life meetings in a public place as soon as you are comfortable.  It can weed out the game players pretty quickly.  When you do come across one of those, though, your best bet is to block and put it out of your mind.  You did the first part.  Now on to the second.  This person is probably giggling over the fact that you gave him this much attenion to start a thread over it.  He doesn't deserve it.

And for the record, yes, of course these types of game players come in all orientations and genders.

I think this particular issue was not a case of someone's idea of fake (at least that's how I read it) but that they simply are fake.  They are here to get their kicks, targeting a certain person and toying with them for their jollies maliciously.  Actively lying and adjusting their persona to see what the other person will do and say.

But she stated that the young man in question readily admitted that he was not who he said he was; to me that says something different than one who is just acting maliciously to get his 'kicks'.

Hm, ok to me that meant he lied to get attention then after a time he admitted he was lying.  That's the pattern I have seen from these types of people.  They come in, act like what you'd want them to act like then go "tee hee hee, gotcha.  Just kidding". 

Regardless, she's gotten advice from all sides of the story and all possible interpretations so I think she's good to go, eh? ;)
