Status: offline 		I think collarme is a wonderful site. I do hope to meet a Mistress here. But is a photo always neccessary? To talk after an initial contact, then meet will tell you more about a person then any photo. But I find it quite difficult to meet  a Mistress without one. It is frustrating. I know there must be a lot of fakes and wankers, but it does make it excessively hard for the serious. I just wanted to put that out there for feed back. Thank you for your time.

I'm in the camp of  I wouldn't meet someone without it. I want to know what they look like first.
Yes, it could make a difference on meeting at all.

I'm reminded of the photo I recieved from someone who said they were 40. The pic? Well over 60! Sorry.
Or the other one that showed the wedding ring on his hand. Oops, forgot to tell me that little gem.

Status: offline 		I won't meet someone without a photo.  How do I know who would be walking in the door?  How would I know if I want to meet the person at all?  While looks are not everything, I do want to know what someone looks like before I meet.

Status: offline 		I will even go a step further. I will not even comunicate for any length of time if they cannot send me a nice photo or two. Nothing pornographic or anything like that, just a nice clear face photo will do.

Status: offline 		tell me this... do you pay any attention to the profile of the dominant that shows no picture?

I'm sure you make it a point to look for all the pretty ladies & email them first & those without a profile will most likely be contacted when all else fails.

Status: offline 		Photos ... G rated ones help me put a face with the emails of the person Im talking to.  Rarely have they ruled anyone in or out .. cept with blatant lies .. like the wedding ring or age.

How am I to know whom Im meeting without a photo .. and if I trust you enough to meet you .. you darn well better trust me enough to send me a face photo.!

I do not require a photo to begin chat however .... only if it seems we may meet.

I met a couple of people without photos but those were the days prior to the internet & cheap digital equipment.

Let me tell you... I met some guys that flat out LIED. One lied so badly that when he walked up to me I had no idea who he was & it wasn't until he identified himself I was like WHOA! Some might consider my next move as rude but I looked him right in the eye & said NO & walked out of the place.

I'm not shallow but if someone is going to lie about things that can be proved as a lie in less than 1 second... I wonder how many other things less obvious they would be capable of lying about.

Back to the OP, no one is saying that you have to place a photo up there for the entire world to see but you better be prepared to offer one after an email exchange or 3 because once the lady is of the mind that she wants to know what you look like, she will expect a photo promptly.

They can be quite inexpensive and if a person hasn't the money for something so inexpensive they probably cannot afford to come see me anyway. I made up my mind that anyone online that should have an interest in me will have to travel to me first. My time is valuable and I cannot afford to be bopping all over the world to find the same thing I have found when meeting people within my own area.......bs and more bs.

LOL.. I've had that happen too. When I met this one "submissive" it was obvious right away that the pics he had sent me were 60 pounds and at least 15 years ago.

I was pissed!!!

I don't understand why people do this. All it takes is one meeting to find them out.

Sigh.. one of the many reasons I have so soured on the on-line search.

Status: offline 		Pictures I require as I said .. I do not have a web cam by choice and do not require one of people  I talk to as I find them boring .

I also require people that are long distance travel to me the first time we meet .. and I assure them there will be NO play the first meeting .. that sure weeds out the players .. lol

Status: offline 		I prefer to talk a bit before a picture, I find that when people ask for a picture, its to eliminate ( not everyone is like that however, I find ALOT are)--to Me if the language, the approach, the intent, the conversatins flows, I dont need a pic for a while--after all we all eventually grow old and change, and that pretty boy look or that hot barbie look won't last. IMHO

You are correct and I wouldn't force anyone......how could I? I can, however, choose to end contact with someone if something about them raised a red flag and I requested a cam and they refused. That would tell me that they were trying to hide something.

Oh I agree! I know that somewhere in my house there is a brand new webcam in a box that has never been used. IF I ever requested it of someone AND they actually followed thru......I would dig it out, turn it on, and scare the HELL out of them!!!!!!

Seriously, I do get that and I am the same way but if you have a cam, you can always arrange a time to get on for a second just to show your here and now self that a pic can sometimes skew, especially if it's a decade old.

I agree. I have it posted in all caps on my profile to please send a CLEAR FACE  pic with all emails. Its true looks arent everything but how else are people attracted to each other. I mean all the similarities and good conversations dont mean a thing if you finally meet face to face and there is no chemistry. I will not even speak to someone who doesnt have a face pic. I am kind enough to have atleast 10 pics that show my face and are less than a yr old some only a month. I expect the same courtesy.
