The other week, my bf and I about wrecked laughing at a sticker that said Your powers are useless, I'm wearing my tinfoil underware! on a car that looked like the only thing holding it together was the bumper stickers....

Correct, it's from Stephenson's excellent Cryptonomicon. I've never implied it's an original quote. Unfortunately, the sig line only allows for limited number of characters. The Stephenson quote doesn't have lots of room to spare.

I could find something shorter I guess. [;)]

I know WAY too many bumper stickers to begin listing here, so I'll just say a few of my favorites.

- Boyfriend wanted. No experience necessary, will train.
- Who lit the fuse on your tampon?
- Isis Isis Ra Ra Ra (if you don't get it at first, just think of cheerleaders)
- People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it's easier to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs

I saw one years ago on an Opel GT which looks like a European version of the popular Chevy sports car. "When I grow up, I want to be a Corvette."

When this one first came out I was especially impressed. Found on the back of a huge RV towing a high dollar 4X4. "We're spending the kids' inheritance."

But I have to say my new favorite is the one found here, "Leave me alone, I'm having sexual fantasy."

These are thebumper stickers on my Da's ute. People are always looking at him funny though my seven brothers and I have never worked out why ^_^
