Kara, Numerous women I've been with in the past, just shaved their labia on each side and then trimmed the pubic hair above with an electric razor. I found this to leave them fully exposed and pleasing to me. This might be a good way for you to start. Rather than actually shaving, you may also want to try a product called "Majic Shaving Powder", which is a powdery product (comes in a can) that was developed for black men with rough skin who had difficulty using razor blades to shave. It is mixed with water into a paste then applied to the skin for a limited number of minutes accoding to the directions on the container, then removed (a spatula works well with it as I recall). It's very effective for most, although it does have something of a sulphur odor to it at the time of use. If left on too long it does begin to burn, just as any delapitory cream would. It may be worth trying to see if it works for you. As others have noted, the longer you keep your pubic area shaved or the hair removed, the less sensitive it generally becomes. As to your fear of cutting yourself while shaving, this disappears with practice and experience. I regularly shave my scrotum in the shower simply by feel, without hardly looking, and don't cut myself in the process. By all means, please have your sub do the work for you! It's something you'll both enjoy. As a tip, it greatly helps to use clippers or scissors to remove most of the longer hair first before you move on to using a razor or any delapitories. Having a bowl of water handy to keep the razor clean, a towel, a wash cloth, plus a depends to lay on & collect any spills also helps. The only thing else I can say is to enjoy the feel and give your skin some time to adjust before you engage in activities that apply a lot of friction to it. Powder to keep yourself dry afterward can be useful too! - pixel
