when Daddy visits me or if i'm with my secondary, they prefer having me naked and very close to them.

i view sleeping on the floor or being trained to get the right to sleep beside a Dom as cruel, uncaring, and unloving.

This is one of those personal choice questions; everyone will offer an opinion that works for them. The only thing I would add is to be aware of any medical issues. Some people prefer to sleep on a hard floor; for others it would be physical torture. They would not sleep and get up needing a visit to the chiropractor. Obviously, in the latter case, an inflatable pad could resolve the issue if it is something you must have.

Since you are asking for personal choices, I want my slave in bed with me, within my arms. When you are a sensualist, there is nothing sweeter than cuddling with your slave after you have put her through her paces, pulled from her everything she had to give. If you were to imagine being exhausted, spent, satisfied to your core, how delicious to hold her close and feel her sweet, complete surrender within my arms.

I intend to keep My slave in a seperate bed for play, as I have an air mattress.
While he would be slave, he needs comfortable rest for work and an air mattress isn't very condusive for play.

I do it both ways. My alpha, cubby, sleeps with Me. We have been together and deeply in love for eight years. He shares My life, bed, and everything else - I married him four years ago and we are a perfect fit in almost every way.

My beta, toad, sleeps on the floor on an air mattress. He is right next to My side of the bed, and we can touch, talk quietly, and I can inform him if I need anything during the night. I also have a chronic pain condition, and toad knows Reiki. Him sleeping near Me helps him to keep an eye on my pain level.

Reading this thread makes me very, very happy to be single. A creature of comfort, I would never consider sleeping on the floor, prefering the companionship of my cat to that of most men.

We sleep in the same bed...and we cuddle, unfortuanately, He has a sadistic bent that keeps Him cuddling well after my snooze alarm has gone off a few times. He makes it very difficult to get out of bed.

Aside from that, I'm not one of those people who can sleep on the floor comfortably. I've done it, but only when there was no bed space...and it had nothing to do with Dominance or submission and everything to do with too many siblings and not enough beds to go around.

I would be very disappointed if I were not able to share His bed. Even if I were placed in another bed, it would still be disappointing for me. It's a comforting and protected feeling to fall asleep in His arms at night. It just feels right.

I sleep on the floor on a regular basis. I had a cheap futon, but two moves and a couple of wrestling matches later...the frame was broken. After I moved back in with my mom, I just laid the mattress on the floor. It is decently comfortable, but his bed is much more comfortable.

It's hard for me to fall asleep while lying next to him, because he somehow always ends up crushing me. I doubt he'd tell me to sleep on the floor, because he likes me crushing me in the middle of the night.

I've never been ordered to sleep on the floor. Though there is something very sweet to me about being kept next to the bed, ready for use, by my Dominant. But it's also nice to fall asleep cuddling to someone.

My very favorite thing ever is when he spends the night with me, because my mother is insanely religious we aren't allowed to sleep in the same bed. He will sit on my bed and hold my hand until I fall asleep, then go to bed himself. I think it makes him feel very Daddy-ish and it makes me feel so safe and protected. I love it.

I can understand this. I can find such a thing calming and centering too. Being on the floor for any length of time feels like I'm "in my place" vis-a-vis him.

Myself, I have a "cubby" which is my "place" -- it's kind of a loft which Sir had built inside his front porch roof for me, accessible by ladder from the front entry hall, and concealed by a tapestry. I go there when I am "off duty," and sometimes sleep there when he is not present, or he can send me there if he tires of me or as a kind of time-out. It gives me the feel of being "on the floor" and protectively confined (it's about the size and dimensions of a pup tent) but yet I have easy access to answer the door or hop down and serve in whatever capacity.

But at night, he wants me warming his bed. And I am just as glad, for the cubby is not as comfortable even with the mini futon mattress I have in there, and I am not getting any younger.

I've heard of slaves sleeping together in a seperate room sharing a king sized matress w/box spring on the floor.

I'm in a conundrum here.
While I completely enjoyed sleeping next to my friend a few weekends ago, I may have someone this weekend move in for 24/7 and I'm not sure I want someone next to me constantly.
Fortunately, my room is big enough for my queen size bed and a twin ( its 12x18). I moved the extra twin mattress to the floor of my room. This way, I am ready for either sleeping arrangement.
I really really like my privacy and giving it up at this point will be hard for me, but I do not expect him to sleep in a cage or on the floor itself if he has to get up for work in the morning.
All I have to do now is get the screen divider back from my mother's house and I'll be set for partial privacy.

Initially with my owner I slept on the floor a few times, I never really worried about the why at that point. Nowadays and for the past few years I sleep in the bed with him but I don't think I'd mind if he had me on the floor, though it'd be a bit weird readjusting to it. I like going to sleep in his arms, but I also liked the reminder of place by sleeping on the floor and at this point I've pretty much earned my way into his bed so I'm not gonna complain.

my Master has always had me sleep on His bedroom floor. i use an air mattress and bedding and it's very comfortable for me. He sometimes has me lay with Him in His bed, before He's ready to go to sleep. One time, He had me stay in His bed all night. That was so He could comfort me, because i was sad about a family member who was dying. i didn't sleep very well that night.

He doesn't have me sleep in His bed because He sleeps better alone. He has never slept well with someone sharing His bed. i like how i sleep. It's a very comforting feeling for me. i am at the foot of His bed. When He wants me, i am only a few feet away. When He is ready to sleep, He sends me back to my place on His floor. It works very well for the two of U/us. i wouldn't want it any other way.

I sleep at the foot of the bed sometimes, in my own bed sometimes, sometimes in a cage, sometimes in my dog hosue but most often in bed wiht him because it is more conveint for sex

Only a couple times was I ever told to sleep on the floor- ankles was chained.
Ive never slept on the floor as a punishment
in fact I've never slept on the floor again, my Last Dom would give me
her bed (all to myself-and a bed made in heaven I swear) to strech out and sleep more soundly if she felt I needed it.
