i'm afraid of lasik surgery. i'm afraid that they'll mess up and i'll end up blind.

Aww, thanks, Level.

I get "halos" around bright lights at night, so driving after dark is a bit of a pain. I did have halos pre-lasik, but they've definitely gotten worse since the surgery. My eyes also dry out more frequently than they used to, but it's nothing that the occasional eye drop won't help. For me, the side effects are more of a nuisance than anything. It's also worth noting that I know five other people who've had the surgery and none of them have halos, and only one has problems with dry eye.

I have had them for a few yrs now. I hate it. I can see distance but working it is a must for the glasses. The doctor says lasik is not a option for me.

Been wearing them for over 30 years now.

I remember the ego crashing hard when I had to get my first pair.

I have glasses..........had them FOREVER.......(since i was in 4th or 5th grade) wear them occationally...........when im not wearing my contacts.......................... ;)
