I have read a few comments most i would agree with, how ever i do when not cold have no shoes in the house, but i am not into the hippy thing having black soles on my feet and haveing them spread because i never wear shoes then when i have to, find the shoes i do have are tight from not wearing shoes for so long and end up in pain, no thanks.

Then again i can not walk far without shoes when i walk in town or walk somewhere, because of medical reasons.

I dont think that not been barefoot for a Master is disrespectful, when you think of all the disadvantages of being bare foot.

If you are indoors and its warm and he wants you to for a certain time, fare enough but to ask a sub/slave to not wear any form of shoes at all, all the time, is someone that does not care for their sub/slave as far as i am concerned, even if that sub/slave did not work she still has chores outside of the house itself their for open to all sorts of injuries, needles from druggies, the list can go on.

If the said sub/slave did work with work place health and safety rules and regulations, to not wear shoes you would loose your job, because everyone is covering their ass and they dont want to be sued.

To suggest the idea of having subs without shoes all together till winter, is a imposibility, unless you are confined to a house 24/7 without the optunitiy to grow and learn by been hidden.

Inside I prefer everybody removes their shoes, that way less mud and gravel gets tracked in.

But outside? Hell no. Cuts, spider bites, snake bites, stinging ground dwelling insects, poison ivy etc. Hardly in anyone's best health interests.

well...the Amish people walk barefeet all the time like in the Trading Spouses tv show..one of the participators were Amish..and they said it wasn't bad even though they live in the city....[8|]

Ok, ok....pedicures are like an hour at a good spa.  Decadent, indulgent, relaxing and exhilarating at the same time.  Frankly, I'd like to see more men sitting in the pedicure chair.  No polish, just well-tended feet, they are so much more attractive.   
 
For me?  Shoes outside, heels when the occasion calls for them, sandals when possible, to show off pretty toes, and for the pure child-like joy of not being in toe bondage after a long winter.
 
Here in the center of the known universe (tic), where there is a nail salon on every corner, a good pedicure runs around $10-15 (Monday - Wednesday) and is worth every last penny, even if just for the massage that comes along with it.

Eh. Not worth it for me. But then again I drop a hundred bucks about three or four times a year for hair cut and color.

I go barefoot when it's safe for me to do so.  I have soft soles, so I can't just go walking on gravel or rough pavement.  I have not noticed this foot spreading that others have mentioned, but then again, I've always had narrow feet.

that's about the price range i pay for my bi-monthly pedicures at a beauty college or salon - yes i agree about the massages, the man at the salon i go to gives great, spine-tingling massages. in between appointments, i give myself a pedicure and massage with body butter and scented lotion.

One of my girls is the same way. I'm always wrestling shoes on her feet when we go somewhere. I won't have her step one foot off the property without shoes or sandles on.

I hate shoes they go off the minute I get in the house if I actually go somewhere and they go off the minute I get to my one job, I hate them.  In fact, even when I worked in the office it was common to see me run to the copier in my bare feet as I hate socks even worse than shoes, they are the punishment of the gods for being dumb enough to live in a cold climate.  No black feet at the moment, but then I scrub real well while showering which is sometimes twice a day.  I just get laughed at about my lack of shoes.

Flip flops are evil. Those damn things between the toes hurt!

I'm barefoot most of the year, even in the winter, I live in the Central Valley {Cali} for goodness sakes, it get sinto the 40s in the winter and the 110s in the summer, shoes kinda are optional most of the year, heck, I am barefoot right now. I DRIVE barefoot, I slip my flip-flops under the seat, drive, then slip them back on before I get out of the car. Its basically, heels, flip-flops ir barefoot for me, at times it boots, mostly barefoot though.

I truly loathe shoes of any sort.  I won't wear them unless I absolutely have to.  Barefoot if I can, and sandals otherwise... again, unless I have to wear something else.  Sides.. I have cute feet.  I love to show them off. ^_^

Try rainbow flip flops.  It's like walking on fluffy brown clouds!  I can't stand the plastic beachy flipflops, because my skin is fairly sensitive.
