I know I've posted this before, but hey. I have run large medical facilities, and our medical records people used to circulate "funny names" (this was pre-HIPAA, so don't bust my chops, Jack!). favorites included: Ima Hogg. Ima Bear. Lexus (I guess her younger sister - born when the family was doing better, was Mercedes?) Mary Christmas Tree, and her brothers Jack Pine and Douglas Fir (I am NOT making that up). Lots of Georgias, Virginias, Floridas, Texases, Nevadas but not one New Jersey. Daffodils, Daisys, Roses, Pansys and Sunflowers. Triffid (I dunno, Dad loves science fiction?) But my favorite was the name that came on the birth certificate, preprinted. This was a 67 year old woman, we'll call her Ms. Jones. And her mother so loved the exotic name that the birth registrar gave the baby that she kept it. My favorite patient: Female Jones. Pronounced feh-MAL-ley. E.

"When you wake up, Pooh," said Piglet, "what's the first thing you say?" "What's for breakfast? What do you say, Piglet?" "I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.
