Fake or Real - Profiles and Initial Contact
Well, I have been on this site for 4 days now. I really haven’t gotten any responses from anyone I messaged except for a few. Out of 166 messages I sent out, only 61 have actually replied with at least something. I mean, I’m not saying submissives and slaves are pieces of shit and are required to send out a reply to Dominants, but come on! You submissives and slaves want to be treated with respect and dignity and then you don’t show Us respect by saying yes or no to Our messages. A simple little note is suffice. You don’t have to write a book of why you feel the way you do, just acknowledge Us the why we did you.
And look at Our profiles! Your always quick to yell at Us for not looking at yours. You can do Us a favor and look at Ours. Hell, maybe you might find something on there that you like.
No, I am not a FAKE! I do read your profiles and humor your requests for proof when you ask for it. I’ll admit that I use a lot of the same information in My initial emails, I use things I see in your profile to prove I read it, but its hard to put Your heart and soul into a message that might end up deleted and unread and quite possibly blocked.
To all you submissives and slaves still reading this, you are not the only ones with feelings on this site. I try to be a caring and understanding Dominant Male but when you get shit on, You start to lose that caring, loving heart.
Just something to think about.

166 messages? It might just be me, but that seems a little excessive! People here don't really seem to like the whole "mass mailing" thing. Of course, you also got 61 replies, but still. Seems a little impersonal to me to send that many messages.

Please don't take this the wrong way, But I couldn't help laughing when I read this. No I am not laughing at you to make fun :) But 61 out of 166 emails is ALOT, that is much more responces then I got when I first started a profile. I know it is frustrating as hell, but you have to have patience. post on the forums, talk to people, go to your local s/m community events and have fun! **hugs** welcome to the site!

61 out of 166 seems pretty good to me considering they each probably got a form letter from you - unless you claim to have read each 166 profiles carefully enough to have personalized each intial email you sent to them - doubtful.

Why do you base how you will treat people on this site by some who you feel have treated you poorly - seems vindictive to me. Treat people are you feel you should - be your own man not some pouting little boy who is mad he didn't get the attention he thinks he deserves - in other words - not to sound harsh - grow up a little.

I can't believe you counted the messages...and I can't believe you found that many people you had an interest in.

You've been on the site for four days. Some people have been here for years. Maybe you're not going to meet someone on the first day.

I'm not sure why you're suprised, though. This is the internet.

It's nice to see a male who put a lot of thought and effort into his profile. A lot of women have filters that will automatically filter out your e-mail according to state, age, sex, etc.... If it does get through and you're looking for something that is obviously not what they said they were looking for you may not get answered either. Women get a LOT of e-mail, and after the novelty wears off (which is does quickly) we feel much less like being polite.

Also, and this is meant as constructive critisism, not flaming..... You state that you are "a relatively new and novice master.", and then you state that you want "to build a stable of slaves and submissives" to train while you learn. Your profile looks like a fantasy. If you want to be taken seriously, I'd start with just one. Not to mention, most submissives/slaves I know don't want to be part of a Harem, it's hard enough with a 3-way poly relationship.

Have you considered that they looked at your profile and decided not to write back becasue they DIDNT see something they liked? Honestly, female submissives get a lot of attention and sometimes if there is no interest they dont write back. You mention how do they expectt o be respected if they dont reply even if it is negative? Simple, they dont really care if you respect them or not if they arent interested enough to reply.
In 4 days, if you have sent out 166 messages, you have a few things to consider. (a) are some of the profiles people who do not log in frequently and may not have actually checked their mail yet. (b) might you be filtered for some reason (c) did you miss something in the profile that mentions why you might not get a response?
If its only been 4 days, your lucky youve gotten that many responses back. I find it interesting you would have 166 different girls you have shown actual interest in. How would you go about narrowing that down assuing you get a response from every one of them in the next week or so. Lets take off maybe 40 or 50 not interesteds, which still leaves 116. Youve already spoken to 61 of them, so you still have 55 to contend with. How exactly do you keep everyone straight, make sure you associate the right names with the right people and show actual interest in everyone? How can you pursue THAT many relationships at once?
Me, I top out at 5 when im looking, 2 when I own. Think realistically, advertizing that you mail that many shows that you arent honestly that taken with any of them. Or at least thats my take on it.
Be patient, and instead of complaining about the ones you dont have, see where things go with the 60+ you do. There are others on this site that would love that sort of potential.

Oh and fyi.. I've been here a few days longer than you and have contacted about 7 men. I do believe I've heard back from them all, prolly because;

I took the time to really read through the profile and had something individual and unique to say to each one.

or

I contacted them for a specific reason, not related to hitting on them.

Lol, I’m in the military and thank God I can take constrictive criticism . Yeah I guess I do need to be more choosey in who I send a message to. I guess I would be a little pissed off with a Dom if I was just one of a 1,000 people. I guess my question is, how can you tell who is really interested in you when they message you back?

If they say something to keep the conversation going, generally this will be a question of some sort...or, they will espouse on whatever you wrote in your initial letter.

If you get a "Thanks." You can probably assume that they're interest is fairly low.

As a little math problem, I tried to figure out how long it would take to message all these women. Taking out time to find 166 women that you are, as a man with a caring, loving heart, interested in, if you took 10 minutes per woman to read her profile (because you do), craft a personal response and send it, that would be 1660 minutes, or 27.6 hours. That's almost 7 hours a day. What dedication!
