Status: offline 		I had a problem with my libido when I was on a certain kind of depression pill.  I had to quit taking it because I missed sex so much.  That has been about 2 yrs ago now and I haven't taken any since, hence all sex issues are gone now.

Sex (or anything for that matter) is only as boring as the one (s) doing it.  There is always a way to take it up a notch or add something exciting.  It's all in the imagination and your mind can be a powerful sex organ.  My only complaint about sex is I don't get it enough sometimes, but when I do, it's pretty fabulous.

Status: offline 		i'm "supposed" to be on anti-depressants...but stopped when i realized they don't work. i stopped going to therapy, when that didn't work and they kept changing therapists on me and i would always end up starting from the beginning with each of them (like these therapists can't read a freakin' chart to see where the other therapist left off). it's a dead-end street.

Status: offline 		i have been bored by a lot of things, but never by sex.lets see there's waering red pumps and whipped cream, wearing nothing but my hair and perfume, behind the old school, with his other girl, with his other girl while he watches, making videos and watching later as we do it all over again oral while he plays video games.....i can go on and on.
please see a doctor. at least to rule out medical problem.

Well, perhaps its time for a change of locale. Medication, Location, Status in life.. they do make us depressed and it can make us bored in the bedroom. Like I said.. you need to find a different spark. Maybe locating toward Atlanta, FL, (big BDSM commnuities down there).. Perhaps even TN (which is north of you).. SC, NC, VA. ...

I agree. I think he needs to rule out the medical. And if he's taking anti-depressents, that may also lower his sex drive. Love that comment about watching later as we do it all over again.. oral while he plays video games. I dont think I ever had oral while playing video games.

if my gf would move, i would...but she likes it here (gag)

it also doesn't help not having a car of my own to get around in. AND there's really no jobs here that i would do. i guess i'm just to particular in my ways

If you find sex boring, don't have sex. To me, it's like anything else, if it bores you or is a source of worry,frustration and not something you enjoy: " just say no".  You have said you have tried or exerienced may different variations with no positive result or release from the boredom of it, soo why have sex ? 

I would say * most * people enjoy it, do not find it boring, but there are some that it is just not a big thing for. Why irritate yourself doing something that you don't like, when there is no need to ?
It's only as big an issue as you make it. If you accept that you don't care for it and it's not something you have on the top ten list of favorite things to do, let it go. It really doesn't make you less of a person.

Status: offline 		In all seriousness, Michael there has to be something that you do have an interest in....Whether it be a hobby or perhaps something as simple as help others....It does sound like you are in a major rut....And I think you would agree that you need to somehow shake yourself out of it...It is time for some serious soul searching...If your depression is the problem...Then it is truly time to be proactive in your approach....Instead of having others tell you what is "right" for you....

Take some time to figure out what is realistic and would bring some joy into your life....I dont think that the time on this forum is going to lead you to a cure...Everyone goes through a funk or twenty in their life....There are two types of people the ones who don't let the funk get them down to a point of being immobilized and the others who allow themselves to wallow within it and cheat themselves from enjoying life....You are more fortunate then some...You have a keyboard in front of you and a load of information at your finger tips....Start using it.
