To each their own but i'm having trouble understanding why any fool, sub male or otherwise would have any interest in this sort of arrangement. i've viewed more than a few profiles that blatantly advertise for "money sluts", etc. WTFO? i can understand in the context of a long term relationship how a sub would give all to his Domme, including control over all financial aspects of the relationship but to respond to an add that more or less says "send me your money" now that's just a little past my ability to comprehend. (i'll say it before someone else does, there's probably a lot beyond my comprehension around these parts - Ha[:D]

i realize that i don't have much experience in the lifestyle and i'm not trying to be judgemental, just curious if there really are subs like that out there.

The answer to any question that asks "Does anyone else do X?" or "Is anyone else into X?" is always YES.

While I don't consider myself a "money slave" I do enjoy that the Owner uses me in all ways he can- including financially.

i guess that's what i meant by saying i understand it in the context of a more comprehensive relationship such as yours emeraldslave. Congratulations for finding a seemingly well rounded relationship with your Dom.

i believe in any good relationship, we're all something of a money slave to differing degrees.

i still don't get the send me your money, pig adds though.

Whenever I discover someone who pretends not to be a completely only into money as a financial domme, I run completely in the opposite direction. It's another one of those things that bothers me here because of the last 10 women to contact me here, 8 of them have been money dommes or professionals I have never heard of (meaning they see what they believe is an easy target) who contact me, stating my profile was interesting to them, and then they begin to explain how much it will cost to "pursue" this relationship.

This happens so much here that I sometimes end up ignoring contacts (and no, I don't get that many), including the last one from some submissive guy who was trying to have me contact his Mistress because she was "interested". Well, if a Mistress is interested in me, how about actually contacting me instead of sending some guy I don't know and have never heard of to give me a phone number to someone I know nothing about?

Thanks sarbonn. i wasn't really touching on the proDomme aspect of it though. At least they are honest about what they are doing, what they offer in return for tribute, etc. i appreciate Their honesty. i find it difficult to believe that a true proDomme would solicit contact with a sub anyway. Why would they need to?

i'd bet that if you've been contacted by someone that requires you to fork over any dead presidents (paper ones only-leave the real ones be) before any other contact occurs, you're looking at a scam in progress! Beware brother.

I can kinda understand where your both coming from, but look at this way : Your in control! And all you have to do is convince yourselves that the dead president's are much more important to you than the women you fear that might try and take them away. Once you do that, you'll never lose them!

And by doing so, you'll have put yourselves in the position so that when you smell a ''Con'' coming, you'll actually be able to play with them for a while. And if your crafty enough, you might even be able to turn the tables on them - You know ''Hustle the Hustler''

That would be a complete waste of my time. I don't play games with women, even if they're only interested in my money. I gain ZERO satisfaction playing games with people. I'm a submissive. I live a lifestyle that is designed around the pleasing of a woman to whom I can dedicate myself. Therefore, playing a game with someone who is trying to separate me from my money comes as no satisfaction to me whatsoever.

I leave that kind of crap to the players that enjoy that sort of thing. You might even say this is why I become such an easy target, because a woman is already going to know that I'm not going to put her through stupid hoops to gain some silly satisfaction that has nothing to do with servitude.

As I stated before, when I discover a woman is of this nature, the conversation ends abruptly. That is all the "playing" I need to do in such circumstances. Revenge is for those better suited for that kind of banal behavior.

I understand your intelect here, and probably follow a similar path most of the time.

The tone of behaviour behind my line of thinking is really not one of revenge, but instead, more altruistic. The more frustrated these huckster's become, it just makes it a whole lot easier for the next honest guy.

I guess the other point that sticks out, is that I'm just not quite as submissive as you are. LOL

There are real pro dommes, and if that's what you want, you can get it. But sending someone money over the Internet does not get you much.

Yeah, you can have folks who have a legit fetish involving financial domination. Ditto, people have fetishes about all kinds of things: leather, feet, kidnapping, long hair, short hair, no hair, food, amputees.... the list goes on and on. Every greedy female with a computer is hoping for that relatively rare person who has a fetish about sending them money. THAT has nothing to do with domination. That is a "get rich doing nothing" fetish.

This topic pops up now and again and one thing I've noticed is the complete absence of any "Money Dommes" jumping in to defend this practice. Although I'm sure there are a few subs out there into financial domination, I seriously doubt they are found in large numbers. I personally believe women have heard of this practice and put up a profile to see what they can net (literally).

Just yesterday, I signed on to Collarme and in two minutes received an email from a Domme that simply ordered me to go to an online clothing store and buy her something to prove my sincerity. She was half my age. I found it pathetic and almost insulting.

Real Professional Domme's are no different than Lawyers - If they're good, then their appointment books are always filled.

They have quality web sites/advertising, good reputations, and significant investment in infrastructure. They don't need to message the naive souls and trick them out of their money. They offer real Dominance - and are paid well for it.

The women trying to trick people out of their money for the privilege of returning an e-mail, or a short phone call, are nothing more than cheap and petty con artists. And as one Professional Domme from New York said to me in an unsolicited message the other day - ''They make us all look bad''

I don't know what the OP does for a living, but I used to be in the Sports Bar/Night club business for over ten years when I lived in the San Francisco Bay area. I've seen just about every con in the book and then some.

Homie from Kalamazoo is working on his PhD and has already authored a Humorous Greek epic.

Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I find it extremely amusing that someone, probably pulling the night shift in Wal-Mart's make-up and apparel department is attempting trick people out of their money with a few short messages here. Depending on how imaginative or transparent it is, I usually write back and mess with them. I probably don't take the messages as serious as most, and like to play back{ Probably part of my playful personality and sarcastic sense of humor}. You can call that stupid, childish, revengeful, or whatever.

My message to the Gents : Beauty is only skin deep. Pick smart, career orientated women that don't need your money - There's tons of them out there.

I've had a handful of male submissives offer to send me money or tributes. I refuse them because I would feel that I had to give them something in return, even if they have made it clear that they do not expect anything in return. That is *my* point of view on things.

That said, I don't have an issue with money dommes at all. I think that like everyone else, they need to be upfront about who they are and what they want. I have empathy for those who have been swindled, of course. The thing is, most of us have been victims of cons and we have survived and learned something from the ordeal hopefully.

Now there are money dommes out there and there are subs who are sending them money knowing full-well what they are doing, i.e. making an educated decision. Then that is a win-win situation which nobody has the right to judge.

I think this fetish has something to do with men who love to buy women gifts and women who love to receive gifts. It's been somewhat changed by the bdsm world and doesn't really seem to make much sense in the bdsm world.
